"To Oakland." Alexia said.

They walked miles and miles.

In the California heat, everyone was sweaty.

Except for Bean, he was a robot.

Jennifer couldn't stand looking at him. All she thought was Sydonia.

There was a group of zombies behind them. They were starving so they were slower.

They were starving after having a belly full of Sydonia. Jennifer wanted to cry. The she thought Sydonia wouldn't cry if Jennifer had died. She swallowed it down and continued down the way.

How long did they even have left?

Alexia wasn't weak. Jennifer was. Alexia and Sydonia had always protected Jennifer. Sydonia also helped Alexia. They lost a big part of them. Their friend and assistant.

They put it to the side.

Marisa missed Axel and her mom and her dad. And everyone.

"Do you guys even remember all the dead?" She asked.

Chandler shook his head, "I don't remember who first died."

Father then said, "I remember the first death I witnessed was my own. I've been dead all this time. It's because this isn't living, it's surviving. I saw my first zombie and I knew nothing would ever be the same. I was dead when I first saw the dead."

"You know," Alexia said. "You say really cool things and all. If only I remembered the--"

Jennifer grabbed her knife and inserted it into Alexia's skull.

Marisa stayed close to Chandler but Jennifer killed Chandler and swung at Marisa.

Father pinned Jennifer down and beat her.

Marisa grabbed the knife and killed her.

"I'm sorry." Father Rudy said.

Marisa bent down and kissed her boyfriend on the cheek, "I love you."

Sydonia came out of the woods, "I heard someone scream."

She had blood all over her clothing and body.

"I wrote a poem." She said.

Marisa wanted to roll her eyes but was crying. Father urged Sydonia to go on.

"She walks with the walkers.
She is unarmed.
She walks with the walkers.
She is blinded by death.
She walks with the walkers.
And they don't mind.
She walks with the walkers
Because they know she's dead inside.

"Are Jennifer and Alexia dead?"

Father nodded, "Chandler, too."

"What's on the inside counts. Me, too."

They continued walking, Bean stayed close to Sydonia.

I don't know how I'm alive.

Or if I'm alive.

Or if I'm truly dead inside. There's a gun in my hand. Alexia and Jennifer are gone.

Honour don't mean shit. Sydonia thought then put the gun in her mouth.

There was a loud noise, Father and Marisa turned back to find blood emerging from Sydonia's head.

Marisa looked down. "Take Bean to Oakland. We lost our engineers, I don't have faith. I want to go with Chandler, thank you."

Father said, "you won't be with him in the afterlife. Your love isn't truly eternal--"

"It's already Over, Father. Over for me." She grabbed the gun.

One more bullet.

One more bullet wasted.

One more zombie saved.

One more human gone.

"This ends with me?" Father asked himself.

Just him and Bean now.

Father found some dead zombies and put their blood all over him.

He hung their limbs around his body.

"I am one of the dead." Father Rudy said.

The last man in California.

That group in San Francisco got overrun.

It was Rudy against the world.

"C'mon, Beanie."

Father didn't really know what to do.

The whole plan was to expand the group.

There was no group to expand.

Meland and Kakot went to Father Rudy.

"He is the last man."

"Why are you doing this?"

"For Mother Earth. We want to save her. You are all that's left. We will get rid of the zombies and save this rare planet."

Father Rudy kneeled, laid his possessions before him and bowed his head.

"I like this one."

As Father Rudy's last words he said -instead of something out of the bible- "you can't win, Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." Father Rudy kissed his bible and then yelled to the heavens, "GAME OVER!!!"

This meant more than anything Father Rudy had ever said.

It may seem silly and common.

But he admitted defeat, he didn't fight back. He understood what had to be done and he agreed.

He wouldn't press restart, nothing.

And it's oh so simple.

Game over.
