Axel smiled.
He followed his wife to their tent.
It was further than the rest.
There were two sleeping bags.
"So it's like that?" Axel said.
Natasha smiled, "what were you hoping for?"
"Them zipped apart, one under, the other acting like a blanket." He began to fix it.
"You actually think you're gonna get lucky?"
"We've been apart for so long. I haven't had sex with other girls."
"What did you do to other girls?"
"I kissed them, that's all. I'm sorry." He said, kissing her neck.
"Azi.." she pushed him away.
He pouted, "c'mon. How can you do that to me? This temptation is killing me."
"Six months without sex, Azimuth, how did you survive?"
"It was hard. No pun intended."
She laughed, "go to bed."
He groaned and laid down.
She laid next to him, "Fuck, Azimuth, if you're gonna be like that, turn around." Before he could, she added, "screw it." She laid on top of him, roughly kissing him.
Melinda tossed and turned in her small sleeping bag, unable to get over Axel, unable to mute out the moaning in the tent next to her.
Dean slept in the same tent as his brother, feeling he had to protect Sam.
Anne slept with Gus and his father, Jaime with Romero and his brother, Sheila by herself and Daryl by himself. Nathanael with Charlie, Beth with Carol and Lindsay, and Father Rudy with Melinda.
This was another reason why she couldn't sleep.
"Father, please, your praying and mumbling is keeping me awake."
"Then, pray with me."
"I'm not that much of a believer. Faith isn't really something for me right now."
"Is it that boy Argo that's troubling you?"
"What?"
"Well, I saw you hugging before his wife came along."
"Yea, we were, uhm.. together. He left and then we found his wife Natasha. I didn't know either of them were married. Natasha was.. quiet."
"I see. Jealousy, is it?"
"I'm not jealous. Yes, fine. I'm jealous. He saved me. I wanted him to be mine."
"I'm sorry, honey, but there are more serious matters. No offence but. In my opinion, this is the end of the world."
"Then why keep faith?"
Father Rudy smiled, "you can't just have faith in the good times, when you feel truly blessed. You have to have faith when there is nothing else. You must have faith in the worst of times. Faith will help you stay strong. Melinda, you must always. Always have faith. Especially now."
