Chandler tapped Axel's shoulder.

"Right, zombie apocalypse!"

Melinda giggled.

Axel apologised and went back to protecting the camp.

Melinda stayed close by.

Alison was on the verge of tears.

Jaime wasn't, he was enjoying this.

Seeing Maddy turn? PRICELESS!

Who else would bring this kind of action? All Jaime had to do was bring a zombie or eight, it was cake.

It took a long time before they could clear all the zombies. By that time, the sun was out and everyone was drenched in sweat.

"Who died?" Marisa asked.

Chandler replied, "Maddy, Tristan, Nicholas, Emily and Alexis. We have KayLee and Kyle, though."

Axel asked, "who's Jack?"

"Emily's little brother. He went missing for three months today." Marisa said.

Axel nodded and packed everything into the three cars.

Anne had just woken up to find her brother covered in blood and sweat, "I would hug you, but.."

Roberto organised the fifteen people into three cars.

Romero and Lucio in theirs. Jaime, Alison, Claudia and Emilio in the truck. Everyone else squished into the RV. Sheila drove her car, alone.

Where they were going?

They had absolutely no idea.

Marisa and Anne stayed close to Chandler.

Kyle was crying, "Maddy.."

KayLee was sitting on the floor, playing with her shoes. Augustine sat shotgun while Roberto drove. Melinda tried talking to Axel.

She held his hand but he stuffed his into his trench coat.

"Axel.."

"Stop Melinda. I made a mistake earlier. I shouldn't have kissed you."

"But you did.."

"I wish I didn't."

"Why don't you like me?"

"I have my heart set on someone else. Sorry, Melinda." He kissed her cheek and gazed out the window.

How could he do that?! oh, she'd make him pay. He will love her and he'll regret laying his eyes on another girl.

Augustine stayed quiet. He didn't want to break his concentration. He couldn't stop thinking about Tina.

Claudia loves her Tata, but how long could he possibly last? No, she told herself, don't think like that. Tata is strong.

Sheila really missed Carl but she had to get over him. Why didn't she help the men.

Maybe they wouldn't have lost many people if she had.

No, she had to stop blaming herself.

She had to focus on something else.

Maybe Axel could be her new interest.
