"Ga, here's your strawberries" sambit niya sabay lapag ng mangkok na puno ng strawberries.
"Thank you, Ga!" Masigla kong sambit.
"You're welcome. I'll just take this call. Eat slowly ha" bilin niya at tumango naman ako.
Kenneth's pov
"Hello, doctor Santiago? Napatawag ka?" Tanong ko.
"Doctor Perez. Sorry for interrupting you but I have some news to share" sambit niya.
"What is it?"
"Your parents had a car accident. According to their driver, nawalan ng preno ang sasakyan nila at tumama ito sa puno. Another car was passing by, at wala ring brake kaya tumama ito sa pintuan sa backseat kung nasaan nakaupo ang mommy mo. I'm sorry doc but, your mom didn't make it"
"And? How about my dad?"
"As for now, kritikal ang kondisyon niya. Tumama ang ulo niya sa wind shield that caused brain damages. And, he also wants to see you and your sister"
"Is this a joke?"
"Unfortunately, no. Hindi ito katulad noon dok. It's real this time. If you want, we can have a skype call"
"No. Uuwi kami"
"We'll wait for you doc" pinatay ko na ang tawag at dumeretso sa kwarto ni Kate.
Pag bukas ko ng pinto ay nakita ko siyang nakaupo dun sa upuan na nasa balcony.
"Kate, we need to go back to the Philippines" panimula ko.
