Ice Cream Date

BUCKY'S POV
An hour passed and we were now on our way to pick up Cassie. We arrived at Scott's house and they were waiting outside for us on the porch.
I pulled up onto the driveway and Cassie ran to the car. She opened the door and hopped in. I rolled down my window and Scott came up to it.
"Thank you again." Scott smiled.
"Of course." I smiled.
"Cassie be good and have fun."
"I will Daddy. Bye love you." She exclaimed.
"Bye Peanut, love you to." This whole exchange made my heart melt. Damn it...I wanted kids soon, I was hoping Y/N felt the same way. I will have a chat with her later. I pulled out of the drive way and began to drive to an ice cream parlour.
"So Cassie. How are you doing?" Y/N asked as she turned to face her.
"I'm really good. Thank you for taking me out today." She said all cheery.
"Oh your very welcome." Y/N responded.
"So what's the plan?" She asked.
"How about Ice Cream?" I budded in.
"Yes! I love Ice Cream." She exclaimed.
"Great." I said delighted.
After about ten minutes we arrived. We all got out of the car and immediately Cassie grabbed onto Y/N's hand. She turned to face me and smiled her eyes went narrow as she bit her lip, trying to contain her happiness. I know she thinks of Cassie as mini daughter.
"Alright let's get going." I said. We walked into the building and waited In line, there was about three people in front of us.
"So what flavour are you getting?" She asked Y/N.
"Ooo...I think I'm gonna go with cookie dough." She said with a smile.
"And mister Bucky?" She asked looking at me.
"Oh, um...I think I'm just gonna go with Mint Chocolate chip."
"Oh those are both good. Can I get Bubblegum?"
"Yes of course. Do you want anything else?" I asked.
"No I will be good."She responded all happily.
"Okay."
We ordered our ice cream and walked out to their little patio they had. We all sat around the table, eating our ice cream.
"How is it?" Y/N asked.
"It's so good, thank you guys so much." Cassie said with a bit of gratefulness in her voice.
"Oh your very welcome Cassie. We love hanging out with you."
"I love hanging out with you guys to." She smiled.
"Cassie we have a question for you." I piped it.
"What?" She asked all interested.
"So I'm not sure if your daddy told you. But me and Y/N are getting married." I acknowledged. Her eyes lit up with excitement. I guess Scott didn't tell her.
"That's so cool!" Her voice all joyful.
"So we wondering if you would be our flower girl at the weddings. Would you like to do something like that?" Y/N asked. Cassie looked to me than to Y/N. She did that a few times, maybe to register that she actually said that.
"Really?" She squeaked out. Her eyes looked all watery.
"Oh Cassie." Y/N sighed with happiness. She wrapped Cassie into a hug and she hugged her back just as tight.
"So is that a yes?" I asked.
"YES! YES! YES! A MILLION TIMES YES!" She yelled with pure excitement and joy. I got up from the table and hugged the two girls.
"Oh I'm so glad that your happy to do this." Y/N stated.
"I've always wanted to be a flower girl." She confessed.
"Well I'm glad that we can make that dream come true." I replied. Tears were starting to form in my eyes, but I did my best to hold them back. When I left the hug. Y/N's eyes were quite red and so were Cassies. We were all just an emotional mess. I walked back to my sit and grabbed my dish that was holding my iced cream.
"So Cassie, I will text your daddy when we can go pick out your dress." Y/N added.
"Okay! I can't wait." She hugged Y/N again and than sat back down into her seat.
We all finished eating our ice cream and got back into my truck. I drove back to Scott's and pulled up onto the drive way.
"Thank you Y/N and thank you Bucky for a great day! Also I can't wait to be your flower girl!" She exclaimed.
"We can't wait either." Y/N smiled. "Also I'm glad you had fun today. Goodbye Cassie. See you soon."
"Bye Cassie." I yelled as she left the truck.
"Bye guys!" She yelled and shut the door. Scott came walking out and she leapt into his arms. They waved to us as I pulled out of the drive way. Y/N reached over the centre console and entangled her hand with mine.
"I love that kid so much." She expressed.
"Same." I responded.

Y/N POV
We got back to the compound and I parked the truck.
"Okay so we have Cassie checked off the list. Next would be Maddox." Y/N muttered to her self.
"What is Maddox doing?" I asked.
"I was thinking ring bearer, how does that sound?"
"Sounds good to me. Also I've been wondering. Who are you asking to walk you down the aisle?" He asked. I turned to him and just looked confused, I hadn't really thought about that.
"I...I don't know." I whispered. Suddenly the death of my parents hit my like an unexpected ton of bricks and I started getting anxious. My chest started rising and falling quickly.
"Doll. It's okay, I'm sorry for bringing that up." Bucky apologized quickly. I looked to him and it looked like he was beating him self up internally.
"No don't apologize." I took a deep breath. "I'm okay. It's just I haven't really thought about them. So it kind of just hit me that I won't have a dad to walk me down the aisle." I sighed with defeat and sadness.
"Hey." Bucky said softly and placed his hand on my back and began to rub circles. "I'm sorry you have to deal with this Doll. I truly am." He expressed in such a soft tone. I looked to him and wiped away a few tears. I gave him a small smile, I leaned forward and pressed my lips against his.
"Thank you Bucky. But I'll be okay." I said. I wanted to believe that statement my self, but I don't think I actually could.
"Alright. But know I'm always here to listen and talk." I nodded my head and he kissed me again. "I love you Y/N."
"I love you more Bucky." We continued to kiss when a tap on the window startled us. we turned to head to see Sam standing there. He just crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
"HOW DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME!" He yelled as he walked away in frustration. We both started laughing and I gave Bucky one more kiss.
"Let's go deal with grumpy Gus." I mocked. We left the truck and walked over to Sam, hand in hand.
"I wasn't even supposed to come get you love birds. It was supposed to be Steve." He groaned as we walked through the main sliding glass doors. When we came to the living room, everyone was there. Even Thor and Banner, who had to go on a mini mission with each other for a weekend. Good to see that they are okay.
"Where were you two?" Tony asked as he took a sip of his drink, which looked like whisky.
"Took Cassie on a little ice cream date." Bucky said.
"For what?" Clint asked.
"She's being our flower girl." I said.
"OH MY GOSH! That's adorable!" Wanda yelled all cheerful. I noticed that her and Vision were cuddling on the couch. That warmed my heart.
"That is really cute." Steve added onto Wanda's statement.
"Yeah we thought so to." Bucky replied.
"Okay, I'm gonna go change into more comfy clothes than I'm coming to hang with all of you." I said.
"Yay!" I heard Nat yell. I just giggled and me and Bucky walked into our room. I went through our drawers and I found a pair of soft black leggings and a knitted sweater. I slipped those on and Bucky was now in sweat pants and a dark green t-shirt.
"Looking Sexy Sargent." I complimented with a wink. His eyes wandered over my body and stared into my eyes.
"And you look absolutely stunning, like always." He smirked. I gave him a quick kiss and patted his chest.
"Let's get going." I grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the living room.
"Oh yay there back. We thought it would be longer." Sam commented with a sass. I walked over to him and hit him in the back of the head lightly.
"Hey." He yelled and grabbed his head for dramatic effect. "Bucky your girlfriends mean." He said all pouty. I just started laughing and Bucky rolled his eyes.
"You deserved it." He said. Everyone started laughing. Me and Bucky flopped down onto the couch. My head resting on his shoulder, as his metal arm was around my waist.
"So what are we watching?" Peter asked.
"Something good." I yelled out.
"Action/ Comedy/ Horror." Thor, Tony and Sam all said at the same time.
"How about a Disney movie?" Peter suggested.
"No!" The whole room yelled, besides me. As they continued to argue I leaned over to Peter and patted his shoulder.
"I would watch a Disney movie." I smiled. He looked to me happily and turned back forward.
"Okay let's settle this stupid ass argument." Bucky piped up. I looked at him shocked, since I know he tries to sit out of shit like this.
"Let's just watch Back to the future and be done with it." He said. The room turned into murmurs of different versions of yes. Peter turned on the movie and I settled back into Bucky.
"Nicely done Sargent." I smirked and kissed his cheek.
"Thanks." He said all giddy and proud. I just looked at him, I didn't know that you could fall in love with some so much. I didn't think that was even possible to love someone as much as I love Bucky.
