A Year Later

"DOLL!" I heard Bucky yell from across the hall. I dropped my book and ran across to Sawyers room. Bucky was sitting on the floor, crossed legged, Sawyer sitting on the floor surrounded by toys.

"What's wrong? Is she okay?" I asked all concerned.

"I think she said her first word." Bucky exclaimed.

"Are you serious!" I said all excited. I rushed over to them and sat down next to them. "What did she say?"

"I think she said 'Mama'." Bucky said while his eyes got a little watery. Mine did the same and I stared down at her.

"Sawyer...can you say 'Mama'?" I asked her. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Ma...ma...mama." She sputtered out.

"AHHHH!" Me and Bucky both cheered loudly.

"Yay!" I exclaimed. I picked her up and spun her around. "You did so good Sawyer! Im so proud of you baby girl." I smiled and pressed a kiss to her forehead. Bucky stood up and came up behind me, wrapping me in a hug.

"I'm so happy!" Bucky said.

"Same here. Im so proud of her." I shared and Bucky planted his lips on mine. We shared a long kiss as Sawyer started laughing.

"What sweetie? You find it funny that I'm kissing your mama." Bucky teased. She started laughing again and than we joined in.

"Okay what happened?!" I heard Nat yell. We spun around and I saw Nat standing in the door frame.

"She said her first word!" I exclaimed.

"No way!" She ran over to us and took Sawyer from my hands and threw her in the air and caught her. "That's so exciting!"

"I know! I'm so happy right now...I can't contain myself." I said all giddy.

"Well we should celebrate!" Bucky acknowledged.

"How?" Nat asked.

"Um...Let's have a party." He said all happily.

"Okay, I'll go talk to Tony about a mini party thing." I said and began to walk out of the room, but before I left I gave Sawyer a quick kiss on the cheek.

I walked down the hallway and looked in the kitchen, living room, game room, bar, meeting room, lab...but he was no where in sight. "Tony!" I called out when I got back to the living room after doing my search.

Bruce walked into the room, holding a cup of coffee in his hand. "Bruce." I said. He stopped walking and looked at me. "Have you seen Tony?"

"The last place I saw him, he was outside." He shared.

"Thank you Bruce." I smiled and patted his arm. I ran to the back doors of the courtyard and looked around. I found Tony lounging on a chair, soaking in the sun. Typical.

"Stark!" I yelled. He shot up and looked at me.

"Yes, Y/N?" He asked. I walked over to him and started at him. "Is everything alright?"

"Yup! We were just wondering if we could throw a mini party tonight." I smiled.

"A mini party? For what?" He asked confused.

"Sawyer said her first word." I expressed with joy.

"Wait! Seriously!" He exclaimed. He jumped up from his chair and raced inside.

"What the hell?" I laughed. I ran behind him and I saw him run into Sawyers room. I made it to the room and leaned in the door frame.

I know realized, that almost everyone was in the room currently. Besides Thor and Scott. "Wow, what a turn out." I joked. Everyone looked at me and laughed. Bucky came to my side and wrapped his arm around my waist.
