Wang Bao was certain Raia would help him but he quickly realised he had put his trust in the wrong feline. The smell of roasted meat drifted in the air and he soon spotted Nakai eating. Raia slowed down to a simple trot and stopped beside Nakai, she lightly dropped to the ground and waited for Wang Bao to get off. With a mouth full of food, Nakai asked in an amused tone.

"Have you finished throwing a tantrum?"

The fire inside Wang Bao started to burn up again as he felt he couldn't live an easy life. Nakai popped more meat into his mouth before unwrapping another bird and sat it beside him for Wang Bao. However, it wasn't accepted.

"I'm not hungry."

Wang Bao was lying but he didn't want to sit beside Nakai and eat. Nakai only shrugged his shoulders as he unwrapped another bird for himself, peeling back the roasted skin before shoving it in his mouth. Wang Bao's mouth watered at the sight of the juicy brown flesh. He tried to distract his empty belly and he stood up to walk to a low hanging branch, his shirt hadn't dried yet and he hung the stained item in hopes it would dry quickly. The second bird was demolished in record time by Nakai and he promptly started on the third. The sound of his chews and the smell of the succulent meat tempted Wang Bao to no end until he couldn't take it anymore. Grabbing the warm bark holding his bird, Wang Bao sat on the other side of Raia. Her large body thankfully blocked his view of Nakai and he dug into the warm meat. On the other side of the large cat, Wang Bao heard Nakai speak.

"We'll be splitting up from Raia once we're finished here. She will travel over the mountains while we travel around. The trip will roughly take at least two months, if we travel over the mountain that will only add another month."

Wang Bao ignored Nakai as he continued eating. His hunger was so large that he finished the bird and was still hungry. When peeking over Raia's back, Wang Bao saw Nakai was halfway through the last bird and he slumped back down but he heard Nakia speak again.

"Get dressed, we're leaving now."

Nakai finished his handful of meat and stood up, he wiped his greasy hands on some leaves before heading back to Raia. Wang Bao slowly got ready then placed his bag around his front again. He thought about taking the scissors but there was no room in his bag nor did he have a reason to carry them anymore. Nakai had finished talking to Raia and he patted her head gently before walking away in the direction they would be leaving. Raia came close to Wang Bao but didn't nuzzle against him like before, instead Wang Bao came closer and leaned his head into Raia's chest. He could feel her strong heartbeat and sighed out a muffled sentence.

"You traitor, leaving me with that guy."

Wang Bao slowly stepped back and watched as Raia ran toward the mountains, her large paws landing on the uneven rocks with precision and ease. It was only once Wang Bao couldn't see Raia that he reluctantly walked over to Nakai and the two men started their journey on foot. Wang Bao had been the one to guide Nakai through the palace when making their escape but now it was Nakai's turn to be the guide. Wang Bao thought about it for a few seconds before becoming confused.

"How do you know where to go from here? We're still in Man Country."

"I've been to Man Country before, multiple times."

That answer made Wang Bao even more confused, he had more questions but couldn't be bothered to ask them yet in case Nakai started mocking him again. As the duo walked, they kept at an odd pace because of their height difference and Wang Bao had to settle with being three strides behind Nakai. He didn't mind though since he had a lot of things to process.

Within the span of 3 weeks, the image of his beloved brother had changed from a man he was secretly in love with to a man he felt estranged to. His Mother who had always treated him with violence suddenly wanted him dead and his home was a place he most likely could never return to. In addition to all of this, he now had to give his rectum up to the very Giant who was leading him to his brother, A Giant who was the enemy last month. Wang Bao ran his fingers through his now short hair with a heavy heart.
