Wang Xei walked along the uneven ground as if he was more at home than Wang Bao, it only took them a few minutes to finally see the frame of an old rundown glass house through the trees. Wang Bao had never seen this building before and he looked at it with intrigue. The frame was all that was left standing, where there would've been glass was bare apart from the overgrowth pushing their way outside. Wang Bao watched as Wang Xei stepped onto the dense greenery that covered the entryway, he followed behind not long after and was shocked to see what was inside.

Unlike the outside, the inside of the glass house looked untouched and fully intact. Countless plants of different sizes and colours grew neatly in rows that had obviously been taken care of over the years. Wang Xei was unfazed by the scene and walked down the center row without stopping to look around. Wang Bao tried to keep up while looking around at all the new plants until they found the end of the glasshouse, in front of them a large pond area with a familiar scent wafting towards them. Wang Bao instantly stopped as soon as he noticed the smell, something inside of him told Wang Bao that he shouldn't move forward and he listened. Wang Xei however, walked to the edge of the pond and bent down, his hand reached down into the water before it was pulled back up, a light blue flower with long stringy roots was inside the palm of his hand, Wang Bao felt the scent surrounding him deepen until his head felt dizzy and he took a few steps back. Seeing this, Wang Xei put the plant on the ground before wiping his hand on a cloth from his pocket.

"You have a stronger intolerance to it than I thought. Don't you think it's strange, I'm immune to it's poison but you're practically deathly allergic."

Wang Bao continued walking backwards until he tripped over his feet in his stupor, Wang Xei was close enough to catch Wang Bao's wrist and he pulled Wang Bao into his chest, rubbing Wang Bao's waist tenderly. Because of his head, Wang Boa couldn't tell what was happening to him, all he felt was the earth beneath him moving as if it was liquid. Seeing Wang Bao like this made Wang Xei delighted and he scooped Wang Bao up, his voice chipper as he walked out of the glasshouse.

"Ha~ It's so easy for you to end up in my arms. Since I can't enter your bedroom, we should head to mine, that way Lei won't get jealous and ruin our fun times."

. . . . . . . .

Wang Lei was busy in his study reading through the pile of reports given to him by the troops that had interrogated all of the workers in the palace, more than not people were loyal to him and his Father but there were the odd few, especially those under his Mother's close order, that answered questions in an odd way. Wang Lei quickly gave the order to let everyone except those under his Mother's order to get back to work and everyone else would be taken to the dungeon. While Wang Lei was reading and making orders, Karo was playing quietly in front of his desk, Wang Lei thought he would be annoyed with spending so much time with a child but Karo was turning out to be a pleasant companion. Just when Wang Lei thought his eyes were going to dry up into shriveled raisins from all the reading, Karo ran over to Wang Lei and handed him something small. Wang Lei opened his palm to see it was a caramel wrapped in clear plastic.

"The guard that made my breakfast gave me them, you look tired so you should eat it to feel better."

"Thank you, i'll enjoy it very much."

Karo was right and once the lolly was dissolved in Wang Lei's mouth he felt his body was more relaxed, Wang Lei picked up the last report about his Mother's troops that had refused to back down when Mr LIu barged through his door, wide eyed with panic.

"Your Majesty, I can't find My Prince. He said he was going for a small walk as the doctor had ordered but hasn't returned for almost an hour."

"Did he say where he would be walking?"
