Nakai saw Mo pass by and pass through the first protective wall barrier with the tail of the serpent becoming stuck in the process. The serpent's body thrashed about manically as it tried to free its tail. The beast no longer cared about the numerous spears buried deep in its belly and the tender skin was torn into a bloody mess. Nakai spoke to the guard with a new plan.

"Bring your men to the wall, we'll trap its head in the wall."

The guard thought Nakai was crazy but their chances of winning were growing smaller the longer they stayed in the area. With two men now badly injured, if they let the fight pan out any longer more people would end up hurt or worse. Nakai quickly gave his own orders to his crew.

"Crew, swim directly under the beast and shoot spears towards the middle of the beast's belly."

The head guard ordered his men and they soon gathered at the top of the wall, they tried shooting down at the beast to get its attention, but it was still writhing around in the hopes of freeing its body and tail. The head guard took his knife and shallowly cut the side of his thigh. The rest of his men followed and soon their blood created a small cloud around them. The serpent suddenly stopped its violent jerking and twisted its head in the Sea people's direction. The sea People positioned themselves in two rows of three with the six others waiting directly behind them on the other side of the wall, holding their crew's ankles through the barrier. The serpent screeched louder than before and Nakai's crew covered their heads in pain. The Sea People stood their ground even though they felt their ears were about to burst. Nakai waited at the bottom of the wall and finally the serpent shot up.

The Head guard swiftly linked arms with his men as they stared death head on. The black eyes of the serpent turned into narrow slits as their mouth unhinged and opened wide. The guards on the other side of the wall waited until the serpent was less than a metre away, as a team they used all of their strength to swim to the ground, pulling the other guards along with them. Once their bodies had passed the wall the group of guards broke their bracelets. The wall closed around the serpent's neck. The large head thrashed while their tail whipped wildly. Two guards were slashed in the process of trying to swim away while another guard was head butted into the wall, knocking them unconscious.

Nakai hurried the crew to keep shooting their spears as he swam to the throat of the beast. Thanks to the spears, the body of the beast was pulled away from the wall, keeping it in place. Nakai pulled out a large blade he kept on his thigh and pierced the thin skin of the beast's throat. red blood clouded his vision but he kept forcing his blade to slice through the tough meat. Pou quickly swam up and they both used their weapons to behead the beast. On the other side of the wall, the serpent screeched in agony, the glass of nearby buildings shook and cracked from the frequency despite being protected with another barrier wall. The guards covered their heads in pain while still trying to help their injured.

The screaming dragged on painfully as Nakai and Pou hacked at the serpent's insides. They were slashing blindly but the serpent wouldn't die. Most of the crew swam over and used their spears to start slicing the beast's body in half, if they didn't hurry then the guards on the inside of the wall would end up deaf. Nakai made a long incision towards the massacred belly in an attempt to find the beast's heart, but the serpent was still screaming and he couldn't find the right organ. He knew the guards and citizens of the city would soon die from the painful sound and swam back to the base of the creature's throat where everyone was still hacking.

Nakai reached in through his original cut and searched for the voice box of the beast. It wasn't long before he felt a large organ vibrating against his fingers and reached deeper, Nakai grabbed ahold of the hard organ and squeezed until he felt it break. The screeching immediately stopped instantly and within a few seconds the thrashing from the serpent seized as well. The guards helped their wounded now that they could move, and the head guard ordered another guard to let their helpers into the city quickly. Once through the first protective barrier, Nakai swam up to the head of the beast and stared at it. He had seen these beasts before, and he quite enjoyed watching them sunbathe on the beaches in Dwarf country. He didn't like how brutal he had to be to kill such a beautiful creature, but he knew the only purpose this modified creature had was to attack the city. Nakai slowly reached into the open mouth of the dead serpent and wrenched out a sharp fang, the tooth was almost as large as Nakai's own hand and he placed it inside his pocket.
