We were definitely eye catching alright.
"So!!!! What happened" Elena has been persuading me to tell her more on what me and Lance are now at. "I told you already.. that's it" I chuckled. "Butttt that's just little tiny push for you guys to move into another level" She wiggles her eyebrows. "Lance is quite weird!" "Oh for sure he is" I laughed at her sudden thoughts. "But like from your story of what happened yesterday.. didn't he say anything back to you?" She says as she was getting her hair done. "Well.. Since I already admitted that I only had eyes on him.. and I plan to confess on the last day or if he gets a really good position.. I guess we'll know by then?" "I applaud you for confessing first.. like oh god Lance is one lucky bastard" "It's like you're ready to surrender for him already even though you're not sure on where you are with him" she adds "Well.. it's been a while since I felt something I wanted to hold on to... so I wanted to take the risk" "I support you on whatever you will do.. but Lily.. I don't want you to get hurt" She says as she wanted me to rethink my confession.. she thinks it's too early as I have met him just a week ago. "I'll be happy if you two work out but if he hurts you.. don't forget that I'm on your side." She hugs me.
Maybe it's because I'm still high on from yesterday but this talk with her today is not getting to me. Since yesterday, I took a step on breaking my walls. It was scary but it felt good. It felt so great that I knew everything will open up for me if I continue to take a risk. A shot at what could be for us.
"You done?" I ask her as I was finishing my makeup. "Yessss!" She stands next to me infront of the mirror "We look so cute!" We giggled. "We a snack but more importantly we attack" she giggles as we walk to the paddocks. There were some press taking pictures of us and ofcourse mostly Esteban and Elena. Gosh they look so cute together honestly.
"Hey" someone taps my shoulder. "Charles!" I smiled as we went in for hug. "You look really cute today!" "Just today?" I fake pouted. "You look great always" He chuckles. "Lily!" I hear another British accent and ofcourse who could it be. "George!" I say as I hug him too. I think I got comfortable with these two already. Weird. Must be because I'm quite in a good mood. "Did you get back safely?" George suddenly asks. "Yes.. yes I did" "You guys were together yesterday? Why wasn't I invited" Charles frowns "You were mate but you didn't show up at the party yesterday" George chuckles. "Weird combo we have here" Daniel Ricciardo suddenly shows up with Esteban and Elena "I don't think I've met you already" He gives me such a big smile. "You can call me Lily" I shook back his hand. "You're so tiny. You could fit in my suitcase and I'll bring you to the next race" Daniel jokes. "Would you please?" I laugh as I'm not really bothered by height jokes. "Yeah come to Renault anytime" He seems so much like a big brother energy here. "Really?" I joked. "Yesss! We could use a new mascot there" he laughs "For the right price you might have" it's all relaxed today I feel relieved.
Everyone started going back to their own teams while Charles stayed behind. "So uhm.. Charles there's something I needed your thoughts on" "Yeah sure.. what is it?" "Promise you won't laugh?" "Why would I?" "Well.. I'm planning to confess my feelings" "WHAT" "Shhh Charles! Someone might hear you" "But why are you going to confess? Why can't you wait for him to do that first?" "Is it such a bad idea?" Charles sighs. "It's not that I don't think its bad.. it's just.. its very un-gentleman of him like.. it is very wrong for me" he states. "For me, if he can't own up to ask you.. then he doesn't deserve you.." he adds. I sigh.. I thought they were at least going to support my idea.. but anyways.. Charles was already getting called by his crew.. "Please.. dont go first" He says as he leaves.
I kinda feel discouraged but I went to the garage... "You're so cute!" Lance suddenly comes up to me "I got matching ones with Elena" I felt my cheek blush "Do you want to wait in my room?" "Hmm.. yeah sure why not" We passed through a couple of staff.. I was smiling nervously as Lance was visibly holding hands with me.
"Here's where my trainer helps me stretch and stuff before the race.. it's still quite early so we can stay here for awhile" Lance smirks. We sat down on his bed. "What?" I let out a laugh as he was looking at me. "You look really cute like a bunny" He whispers, my ears feels a bit of a tickle. "Lance someone might hear us" I whisper back. Lance suddenly kisses my neck. "Ahh" I let out a sudden moan because of his surprise attack. "Lance not hereee.. stoppp" I whispered some more. "Tell me how" He smirks as he pulls me close and softly bites my ear.. "babee.." he slowly pulls down my coat exposing my shoulders. He kisses my neck, each kiss down to my collarbone and his hand on my waist. "You're so hot" He says as he slips his tongue into mine.. slowly he lays me on his bed.. "Lily Cruz, finance-marketing manager" "Wow..you work here?" "No in the philippines" "Really? God! I miss Boracay and Cebu!" He says "There's a lot of beaches" I agreed. Our country was known for being a tourist land especially with our beaches plus it was relatively cheaper than most places. "Wait.. you surf?" Lance suddenly asks. "Yeah.. I actually do.. occasionally" "Oh god! Where have you been all my life" He kisses my cheek and we were all just laughing.
Don't say things like that Lance... I might just believe I have such luck with you~
