Chapter 69: Breaking News

"I said! I need to talk with Lance!!"
"I don't know you sure as hell he doesn't know you too!"
They hear Chloe arguing downstairs. They look out and see the pregnant girl. Lily escapes from Lance's arms and the girl sees him.

"Lance!! Tell them!!" She yells as Chloe looks up.
"You know this girl??!" Chloe was pissed off
"Uh.. yes wait I'll go down" Lance says as he hurriedly goes down.
Lily feels a cold breeze outside. She sighs.

She goes inside as Chloe and Lance go upstairs with the girl.
"I have a name and it's Stacy!" Her voice was pretty annoying.
"You know about this?"
Lily didn't say anything...

"You two are still together? I thought you two broke up already? Can you stop messing up the father of my child?!"
"What the fuck is she saying??" Chloe was so confused and pissed
"No Chloe it was a one time thing"
"While you were with Lily??!" Chloe was fuming at this point
"No it was before we met again and got back"
"How could you be so irresponsible? Didn't you use protection??"
"I did"
"That's crazy are you even sure? Why did she get knocked up then?!"
"I don't know!"
"Were you sure??"
"I was sure!"
"Well I'm pregnant and I'm not letting my baby grow up without a father!" Stacy almost screams
"No we're not even sure if Lance is really the father!"
"We did the test last week! I have the results!"

"What's happening here?" A low voice entered the room and Lily hopes it wasn't who she thought it was but she was wrong
"We're hosting an event for your mother. What's the ruckus here?" He asks as he looks at Lily, Lance and Stacy.
"Dad it's nothing" Chloe quickly responds.
"No. Don't you lie to me I heard it"
"It's not true" Chloe was answering so quickly like covering it up but why...
"Chloe this is not your problem. Lance." He says very calmly which made Lance nervous.
"Lance tell me what this is"

He was so calm that is was very scary. He was a serious business man and he always was head on.

Lance didn't want to answer
"Don't make me ask twice" he instructs

And now wasn't the time for Stacy to be bitching but she was.. so

"Here's the DNA test results. He's the father to my baby and he should be responsible for it"
Lawrence Stroll almost chuckles as he gets the papers. After he reads it, his face changes and gets serious again.
"Lance come with me" He says as he walks to a room.

Stacy went to the kitchen to ask for some snacks but Lily and Chloe stayed near the room. Chloe was pacing back and forth.

"This shouldn't have happened. We shouldn't have done this out here." She was mumbling to herself
"It's gonna be okay" Lily tries to tell Chloe but it was mostly trying to tell herself too
"You.. you don't understand Lily. This.. this is gonna turn bad"
"What why"
"It's the result you will never like. Whenever dad comes in the conversation, there would be no room for negotiations. He will say whatever he wants to happen and most of the time Lance would not even argue over it"
"What do y—" then they hear commotion from inside the room

Lily and Chloe hears Lance talking back to Lawrence.

"This is not going to be good. The last time he talked back was when he wasn't allowed to surf and that he really love.. he's fighting for you but.. it's all.. gonna go down the drain.. he will always have the final say"
