Chapter 35: Sleeping Arrangements

"So how are we deciding this" Lily and the boys were sitting on the floor together as Lando and Theia were at the kitchen.
"But we have to consider Theia" Lily says.
"Oh I'm okay with anything" Theia smiles.
"You're gonna sleepover?" Lando was surprised. He thought she was going to sleep at her house.
"Yeah.. unless you want me to sleep in my house I cou—"
"ROCK PAPER SCISSORS! OH YEAH I CALL IT FIRST!" Lily jumps into joy..
"Okay sooo.." she starts thinking.
"Let's beat each other so Lando can stay with Theia"  she whispers to Charles. He laughs.
"I call the bed for tonight" she says then whispers to George the plan. George whispers it to Pierre. And they both nod and laugh at the same time.
Everyone proceeded to play and the goal was that everyone takes every place before Theia could even play.. this could fail anytime but they had to try.

"Okay so for the last game I present... OUR NEW GIRL IN TOWN- THEIA VS FRENCH BOY- PIERRE!!"
"Rock paper scissors shoot!!"

"YESS!! I'll get the blankets!" We were all jumping down laughing.
"Wait so like.. where's the remaining spot?" Theia had not idea where the available spots were
"Lando's room" Lily says and smiles.
"Oh" she softly said. She felt little heat on her cheeks.

Everyone was getting their pillows. Lily and Charles went to the guest room while Lando and Theia got in his room.

Lando gets the extra pillow from his closet. He was feeling shy but Theia was just standing and feeling a bit awkward too.
"But uhh.. if you're not comfortable.. I can sleep on the floor" he says as he fluffs the pillows.
"I can sleep on the floor. Its your bed so" she says as she walks next to him.
"I cant allow you to sleep on the floor though" he says.
After them being shy, finally Theia got into the bed and Lando was on the floor next to her side.

Theia was a bit uncomfortable but lying on the bed was soft. She smells the faint scent of Lando under the sheet. It might be his perfume or just his natural scent. She thought it was nice.

Some minutes passed but she doesn't seem to get sleepy.
"Hey.. Lando.. are you asleep?" She whispers
"not really.. you?"
"Uhm.. no but uh.."
"Isn't it cold down there?"
"A bit chilly yeah"
"Do you want to uh.. sleep here?"
Lando sits up and looks at her
"You sure?" He asks. She smiles and nods.
"Okay.." He stands up and almost trips.
"Ohmy.. you okay?" They both laugh quietly
"Yeah.." he lies down beside her

Now they're just looking at the ceiling

"I wanted to ask you something" Theia moves and faces Lando's side. He looks over "anything"
"Do you like Lily?" She asked because of what she heard earlier.
"Yeahh" he says as he's looking at her eyes
"Oh.." Theia's heart sank.
"I mean she's like an addition to my family already. She's our little sister"
"Oh!" Theia chuckles. She felt silly once she heard Lando's explanation.
"Is that why you call her ma belle?"
"It was an ongoing joke because that's what Charles calls her or some other french endearment"
"Then does he like her? He looks at her differently"
"You noticed it too?"
"Yeah i mean.. he does but I'm not sure if Lily likes him like that though.."
"Yeah.. she's kinda with somebody else" Lando sighs.
"She seems like a great person"
"That she is. Just hope she doesn't get hurt again"
Then Lando proceeds to tell her the whole story so far.

They were whispering all night and eventually fell asleep.

While in the guest room...

Lily was already sitting on her side of the bed.

Lance Stroll sent a message
Stroll: you settled in now?
Lily: yeah today was fun 😂
Stroll: glad you had a great time
Stroll: Emily sent back the documents. I think they've already talked to them so they'll be briefing you soon.
Lily: wow thankssss
Stroll: don't mention it 😊
Lily: you going to bed now?
Stroll: already in bed. You?
Lily: samee.. just waiting to feel sleepy 😕
Stroll: saw your new upload.
Lily: ohh didn't know you're updated with my youtube
Stroll: I do. It's amazing 🤗
Lily: Thank you. I try 😎
Stroll: can I call?
Lily: oh.. I'm sharing the room for tonight so I can't. 🙏🏻
Stroll: will you be sharing with them?
Lily: yeah.. we promised to take turns from the bed, couch and blankets
Stroll: you're not separated from the boys?
Lily: why would I be? 😂 they're like brothers
Stroll: but still
Lily: relax 😂 they're practically family at this point
Lily: you asleep?
Lily: hey 😂
Lily: good night Stroll 😂

"Here's the blanket ma belle" Charles gives her the extra blanket as he knows how Lily gets cold easily
"Thanks mon beau" she smiles, closes her phone and prepares to go to bed too

and like the other room..
they also spoke with each other trying to catch some sleep

"Charles.. have you ever.. liked someone?" Lily suddenly asks.
"Of course.."
"Do you know that feeling where.. you're afraid to take a chance but you want to?"
"Yeah.." he goes quiet.
Charles knew she was starting to open her heart again but.. it wasn't for him.
"Why.. did.. you like him?" He asks as if it wasn't going to hurt when he hears her answer.
"I don't know but.. I just feel.. happy with him.. I feel like I don't have any weights on my shoulder and that I can try to do whatever I want" she smiles while saying this.
Charles saw it and he sighs quietly.
"Do you think I'm good enough?"
"You are more than enough Lily" he says as his heart slowly beats for her.
"I don't feel like it you know.. compared to him.. I'm just a ordinary person"
"You know I won't agree with you on this"
"But its true no? He's like from another world."
"if he truly opens his eyes, he should know that you are a true gem ma belle"
She sighs as her eyes are starting to feel heavy.
Charles sees this and pulls her blanket to cover her.
He looked at her with such loving eyes.
"If only I could be the one" he whispers.

"She likes him and soon Lance will wake up and get her, I have to let this go" this is what Charles' thought.

Morning~

"Good morning boys" Lily was early preparing for breakfast.
Pierre and George were the first ones to be awake.
"What are you making ma belle" George asks as he scrubs his eyes.
"Your mealss" Lily says trying to cook one after the other.
"Smellss good" Charles came out of the guest room yawning and taking a seat.

"You think they had a great time?" Lily whispers to them as she points to Lando's room. They quietly giggle. "Yeah I think they did. They were up all night whispering" Pierre shares as he passed by Lando's room to go to the loo that night

"George and Charles here's your meal. Pierre.. I know you're not eating breakfast nowadays but I asked them about it and this one would be okay just to get your day started— yogurt bowl"
"Good morning" Lando and Theia comes out of the room together and Lily was almost done preparing.
"Landoo your meal and Theia.. what would you like to eat?" Lily asks. "I'll go with whatever you eat"
"Aww okay pancakes sound good?" She smiles and nods.
"Thank youu" they all were now eating together.

First morning felt great and everyone was fueled for the day.
"Here's your schedules. It's just some light stuff" Lily being a manager. She gave out the lists to each of them and they all went to the backyard and start training.

After a good sweat, everyone enjoyed some nice water fight when George started with the hose.
Everyone was running around, being silly together and in one moment Charles saw this genuine smile on Lily's face.

He knew he had fallen for her and even
without a fight, he promised to stay by her side.
