Chapter 45: Official First Date

Lance woke up early beside Lily. She fit his built like she was made for him. Her hug was comfortable and she looked like she slept so well. He gently pushes a piece of her hair back to see a side of her face. He thought she was so beautiful that he promised to himself, he will do everything he can to love her and give her the world if she wants.

It was still really early so he carefully got up, went to the gym and quietly got back to shower.

"Good morning" Lily smiles as she sees Lance walk out from his shower.
"Good morning babe" he walks to her and kisses her head.
"Can you hand over my tablet?" Lily asked as she scrolls through her phone. She gasps.
"Lance please" she says not looking at him but with her hand sticking out.
"Babe. Today's our last day here. You promised no work" Lance holds her hand to get her attention first. "But.. but.." Lily pouts. "Let's go out, eat and have a proper date yeah?" Lance says to Lily.
Her lips curl into a smile. "Are you asking me out for our official first date?" She teases. Lance nods.
Lily giggles. "But I only have one dress left.. from Emily"
"You can wear anything you like babe" He says.
"If you say soo" she hums and gets prepared for shower.

"Babe. You done yet?" Lance asks as he browses through his laptop.
"Yeah I'll be out in a sec" she says as she opens the door and walks out of the bathroom.

"Is this okay?" She asks tucking her hair on her ear.
Lance looks up and his face lights up.
"Gorgeous!" He says with a wide smile.
"Stooppp you sound like Emily" she laughs it off.

"Where do you want to go?" Lance asks as they get in the car. "Hmm I love the country already. I think anywhere would amaze me" she shyly says.
"I'll tour you around but"
"But what"
"One tourist spot, one kiss" he cheekily says.
"I don't think you'll find that many"
"Ohh I definitely can" he confidently says which makes Lily chuckle.

In a few minutes, Lance found a tourist spot. "No way! That's where gossip girl scene was shot!" Lily was as predicted amazed. Lance found this so cute of her.
"Look" Lily pointed something on Lance's left side and when he turns his head, she gives him a kiss on the cheek.
"That's not fairrr" Lance pouts at her.
"That's still a kiss" she giggles.
"Then I guess I'll save every kiss and use them all at once" He smirks that made Lily blush.

"Let's get brunch. I know a place" Lance suggests as they pass through more tourist spots.
Ringring
"Yes Amber? Yeah. Okay. I did plan to post today. Yes. The sponsors were happy? Ohgosh. Thanks. Couldn't do it without you. Thank you too" Lily ended the call feeling great while Lance was parking the car.
"So.. Amber says they're pretty satisfied with the event" Lily says this to Lance as he unbuckles their seatbelts.
"That's good then. Did you enjoy modeling?" He asks.
"I did.. but"
"No buts.. I know you want to try it. What's holding you back?"
"You already know this. I promised after my contract I'll think about it. I just have to secure enough." Lily explains.
"Babe.. we're together now.. I wish you can rely on me more" he gently says as he holds her hand. Lily slowly nods.

Everything she can but to depend on someone about Financial stuff is something she just can't easily accept. Growing up she started trying to set up a small business because she knew her parents had enough but not anything extra. The luxury of buying extra grocery, buying that steak, getting nails done or her color her hair... all those little things, she had to work for. Can you blame her for being independent? No but something about Lance has always made her soft.

"This place is.. beautiful" Lily says as her eyes wonder around the garden that they had to pass through before the restaurant.
