Chapter 48: Her Happiness

"Good night" Lily says as the boys hug her.
"Sleep well boys. We have practice tomorrow"
"Yes maam" they chuckle as they walk out to different directions.
"Amber didn't get to book you a room so we get to share one this week" Charles says as they go up the elevator. Lily followed Charles and got in the room.

Lily crashed to the couch soon as she sees it.
"You must've been really tired huh?" Charles says as he removes his accessories.
"Hmm" Lily agrees as she's still faced down the couch.
"I'll go first then"
"Hmm"

After a while Lily sits up and calls Pierre.
"Pierre"
"Lilyyyy!"
"Are you free to talk?"
"Ofcourse!"
"So uh.. about my little announcement"
"That you're in a relationship?"
"Yeah.. wait, how'd you know??"
"Saw it in Instagram"
"But do you know who it is?"
"No. People are on a witch hunt because of the news"
"I said yes to Lance"
"Stroll??!"
"Yes"
"What did Charles say?"
"Charles? He.. he said as long as I'm happy—"
"Are you?"
"Am I what?"
"Are you happy?"
Lily chuckles. "What's with everyone asking if I'm happy..."
"Lily.. you have been a light in our life.. you have been there for us whenever we needed someone to support us. You have been different since Barcelona incident but.. now you're beaming like the first time we met you. I know it must've hard keeping it all to yourself. But yeah.. ma belle as long as you're happy.. we can try working things out"
"Pierre.." Lily starts to tear up
"Thank you. You always have the nicest things to say"  she adds
"Ma belle you are always welcome"

Charles goes out of the shower.

"Charles! Pierre says he wants to talk to you" Lily hands over her phone to Charles and proceeds to the shower.

"Lily and Stroll eh?" Pierre was worried for Charles.
"Yeah mate.." Charles sighs
"You let her go?"
"As long as she goes back to her old self.. yeah" Charles shrugs
"But can we be sure of Stroll? I didn't want to her to stress out but I'm still worried. That guy, we don't know if he's real serious now"
"I know but I guess we just have to wait."
"Wait until what.. until she gets hurt again?"
"What can we do. I think she wouldn't say yes if she didn't feel that it wasn't okay to"
"I trust her too. It's Stroll that we need to be careful of"
"Anyways mate.. we should rest now.. we have practice tomorrow"

Lily gets out wearing a robe while drying her hair.
Charles sees this surprised. Never has he seen her go out in her robe. She's usually in her clothes already.

"Uhh" He avoids eye contact and tries to play with his phone.
"What?" Lily asks as she browses through her tablet.
"Nothing nothing" he tries to avoid looking at her but hell, she looks so bare and just such a beauty.
She got a pillow from the bed and proceeded to stay on the couch.

After a while Charles couldn't hear any tapping from her tablet pen so he walked towards the couch.
"Lily?" He whispers as he sees her fall asleep. huh. it has been a while since he saw her with her hair down. It hit back some early memories.

He carries her to the bed and covers her with the blanket.

Charles admired her. For how long? no one knows.

"Good Morning!" Lily says as she wakes up and realizes she slept on the bed next to Charles. She quickly gets up and showers. "hmm.. I really should ask Amber if there's any spare room. Lance wouldn't like this" she thought to herself.

"Charles! we need to be early today. You have a shoot with Seb for the youtube vid." She says as she gently pats his arm.

"Okayyyy... good morning to you too" He sounded a bit groggy.
"What time did I fall asleep?" She asks as he sits and tries to wake himself up
"or better yet.. when did you sleep?" He yawned and answers. "I forgot I didn't look at the time" He stretches his arms and goes to shower.

Lance Stroll sent you a message
Lance: Good Morning babe! 😘
Lily: Good Morning! You're up early today? 😘
Lance: I'm always early babe. You're the one who likes to sleep in. hahaha
Lily: Noooo 😂
Lance sent a picture of Lily sleeping peacefully
Lily: OHMYGOD. WHY DO YOU HAVE A PIC OF ME LIKE THAT??
Lance: it's cuteeee 🥺
Lily: Lanceeeeeeee noooooo
Lance: nope I'm keeping it. 😝
Lily: 😫
Lance: Can we videocall? I haven't seen you. I miss you already 😭
Lily: Just for a bit okay?

Lance Stroll is requesting a video call
Lily accepts.

"Good Morning babe" he smirks as he was visibly going out of the Hotel.
"Good Morning" Lily smiles as he sees his stupid face
"We'll be doing track walk today. You coming with?"
"Very funny babe. I'm walking with Ferrari of course!" Lily chuckles
"Aww I thought that was smooth."
"Anywaysss.. I told them last night.. uhh.. about us"
"Them?"
"the boys.."
"Like George, Lando, Pierre?"
Lily nods
"and.. Charles?" he asks
"Yup he knows too"

Lance smiled a bit as he heard that Charles was already informed about their relationship so... that would be less of a worry he thought.

"Ma belle did you see my shirt? I think I lost my shirt" Charles just came out and of course Lance heard this... He was surprised and annoyed.
"Be right back" Lily says as she ends the call and helps Charles find his team shirt.
"You're so silly mon beau" Lily laughs as she finds the shirt tucked in the luggage almost impossible to find as Charles hid it in the secret pocket.
"Thanks ma belle" He says as he gets back to the shower room to change his robe.

Lily calls Lance back.

"Hey.. sorry about that Charles needed to find his shirt" Lily says but Lance just rolls his eyes.
"He's a grown man why does he need help with this" Lance was annoyed.
"Babe.. I'm his personal manager. Of course I should take care even the littlest of things for him"
"I think you're doing too much for him."
Lily sighs. "I've been doing this since the first race babe.. By the way... did you know that I had an interview yesterday?"
"Really?"
"Yeahh.. you should watch because.. they're now on a witch hunt" Lily pouts.
"Witch hunt? what why? for me??"
She nods. "Sorry" she says.
"No.. it's actually great that you told them you were seeing someone. Now they know you're in a relationship and that already makes me happy" He smiles at her brightly as he gets in the car.
"I need to go babe. See you later" Lance waves goodbye and Lily gestures a flying kiss and he just grins in happiness.

"I'm ready to go ma belle" Charles gets out of the shower and fixes his hair.
"Glasses?" Lily shows him this season's new set and they got to choose one for both of them.
"Now we're ready" Lily chuckles as they get out of the hotel and get in Charles' car.
"I must say, this car is so sexy" Lily compliments as she buckles her seatbelt.
"That ma belle, It is" Charles chuckles as they go to the track in style~
