Chapter 38: Weakness

The last two days at Lando's were fun but the weekend came right after and Lily was starting to get really anxious.

Lance Stroll sent a message
Stroll: Finally! Can't wait to see you 😎
Lily: I'll almost out now I'm gonna get lost here 😅
Stroll: Let's meet at Starbucks 😊
Lily: okay I'll ask someone
Lily: where are you?

Lily was tapping the ground with her foot. She was feeling nervous and she can't see Lance anywhere..

"I'm here" He whispers on her ear making her jump.
"Fuck Stroll" she catches her breath.
"Sorry" he hugs her and rubs her back.
"I'm already really nervous"
"Sorry.. have you eaten yet?"
"Not yet.." she answered as she lets go of the hug.

"Let's grab a bite before we go to your shoot for your portfolio" Lance says as he gets her luggage.
"I want to but I don't have appetite" Lily sighs.
"Let's eat a bit yeah?" He gives her a smile while opening the car.
"Your car is a bit eye catching" she buckles her seatbelt.
"Maybe for you but here it's quite normal" he explains.
"Oh" Lily becomes quiet as she thought about what are the things about to happen this week.

"Come.. let's get you some soup" Lance suggests as Lily was feeling cold.
"Thank you" she says as she sips some.
"How you liking the country so far?"
"I think.. it's beautiful" she smiles.
"Look around.. you should take this time to enjoy the city" Lance chuckles as he sees Lily having some soup left on her upper lip.
"You're so cute sometimes" He gets some tissue but decides to kiss her. Lily gets surprised and blushes.
She covers her mouth, her eyes wide open looking at Lance.
"You had some soup" He said licking his lips.
"You're lucky I'm so out of it today but I would've punched you" she recovers but he just laughs at her.
"Ready to go?" She nods.

They got into a studio where not a lot of people were there. She comes in with Lance, slowly and steadily as she hears her heart beating. She gulped as she sees the man with a camera.

"Oh! I didn't know you would be the one I'll be working with today" The man with the camera seemed familiar. She just couldn't put a finger on it.

"I see you two are still together! What a small world!" He seems happy but Lily and Lance were just a bit confused.

"Barcelona?" He grins.
"Oh! Oh.. you took our picture" Lily suddenly remembers and smiles. "Chris" he hands out his hand for a shake. "Lily" she shakes his hands and Lance was a bit indifferent.

"I'm honored to take your portfolio pictures" Chris smiles while checking the set.
"Ms. Lily we have your clothes here" a smiling girl assisted Lily as she went to the changing room.
Lance took a sit near the set. Lily went out with her first outfit. It was plain black top and black jeans. It definitely highlighted her curves as she still has her ponytail and her neckline was attracting him. She was stunning Lance thought.

"Feel at home.. Relax.." Chris says as she was visibly nervous. He took the first shots and slowly Lily got a bit comfortable. She changed twice by this point and the pictures were splendid.
Lance was smiling giving her assurance that she was doing a good job.
"Chris.. our male model got sick today what do we do?" One of the staff was panicking because the next photoshoot was supposed to be a couple set as a reference. "Is there anybody available today then?"
They shook their heads. "We tried but most of them have schedules today" they sighed.

Lily was talking with Lance since they were on recess. "You were great!" He says.
"I think I'm okay" she chuckles.
"Told you. You could do it"
"Doesn't mean I could do this everyday"
