After few minutes had passed, Loki came back with new bag of ice. He shook you awake gently, making you flinch and sat up in shock.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Here." he said and handed you the bag.
You looked at it suspiciously and grabbed the bag from his hand. Then you placed it carefully on the back of your neck and it made you feel better instantly.

"Seems like it's helping my little wolf. Do you need anything else?" Loki asked, still sitting on the couch next to you.
You shook your head in reply and then glanced at the door. Loki understood your sign and he stood up to leave.
"Very well then, I'll leave you now so you can rest, little wolf." he told you with little smirk on his face. You watched him as he finally left and then you lied down on the couch again.

*

You woke up in the morning, and for your luck, your fever was already gone. And so was the headache.
Today was finally the full moon, which meant that you could finally go to the woods and be your true self.
Although you just hoped that you won't run up to your old pack this time either. You had managed to stay away from them for couple of months now and you really hoped that it would stay on that way.

You walked down to the kitchen, once again because you were hungry. You hadn't ate anything the last evening and you were starving.

"Oh Y/N, already feeling better?" Steve asked as you walked in. The others were gathered already, eating their breakfast.
"Yeah.." you sighed and went to the fridge.
"Where's the pasta?" you snarled after you had noticed that Nat's cooked pasta was gone.
"Sorryyy.." Thor said as he walked over to you with an empty plate which smelled just like the pasta.
You growled at him and almost would have grabbed his collars if Clint hadn't came between you two.

"You shouldn't annoy her, you know what day is today." Tony chuckled as he was sipping his coffee. You gave a glare at him, but you had to admit that he wasn't so wrong either.
Day before full moon was the day you were terribly exhausted and powerless, but the full moon day you were extremely easy to get annoyed, and you had very short temper.
So even the fact that Thor had ate the pasta, pissed you off.

"I just ate the pasta, I didn't know she would've wanted it!" Thor whined and threw the plate into the sink.
"Thor it's alright, Y/N can go to the store if she needs something." Nat replied and then looked at you and raised up both of her eyebrows. You rolled your eyes and with one heavy sigh, you nodded as an accept.

"Guys, we need to suit up. Now." Steve said suddenly, interrupting your 'argument'. He was already in his Captain America suit. Everyone turned to look at him with little worried looking faces.
"SHIELD has a mission for us, again." he added with big and heavy sigh. No one didn't argue with that and they all nodded and headed to get their armors for the battle.

You would have wanted to go too but Steve stopped you before you could.
"No not you, we need you to stay here with..."

"Oh Loki, you're here. Good." Steve said as  Loki walked in with confused expression showing on his face. You sighed heavily because you knew what Steve wanted you to do, once again.
"I need you to stay here with him again, we can't take Loki to missions yet. And it's probably the best for you to stay here as well, today is full moon after all." Steve ordered and you just had to nod in reply. You didn't like this, but you didn't have any other choice either.

"Great." Steve blurted and walked pass Loki to head to the battle with others. Loki was just looking little amused once again, he clearly enjoyed seeing you irritated.
"Oh and one more thing, get that wolf into the store. Y/N is hungry and I swear it's not gonna be good for you if she stays in that way." Steve ordered Loki who looked at him first little stunned but then nodded in amuse.

Gosh this was going to be awful.

After Steve and others were gone, Loki walked over to you with that stupid smirk on his lips.
"Well, I heard my wolf is hungry. Shall we go then?" Loki said gently but with little arrogant tone in his voice. You rolled your eyes in reply.
"I assume that's yes." Loki chuckled and handed his arm to you. But you refused his gesture and walked pass him, trying to avoid his stupid grin and the fact that you still were uncomfortable around him.

Loki followed you to the elevator and you kept your eyes on him the whole time, just to make sure that he wasn't planning anything or trying to hurt you from behind. You were too suspicious with this god of mischief.

"You really should try to trust me even that much that you wouldn't have to keep your eyes on me the whole time. I'm not gonna run away or something." Loki sighed while you two were walking through the streets. Neither one of you knew how to drive a car, so you needed to walk to the store.

You didn't reply anything but just stayed silent.

"What in god's name is this place?" Loki snarled as you walked inside the store. Loki looked curiously and also suspiciously around him, touching almost everything he saw. You watched his moves, you were little too scared to be too close to him, so you decided to survey from distance.

While Loki was curiously looking around like a kid in the candy store (which reminded you of Thor), you walked around and grabbed some food for you.
You actually got it a lot, you never really should go to store when you were hungry as hell.

"Looks like little wolf had found its food." Loki said as he walked over to you after looking around just enough to end his curiosity.
"Yep.." you mumbled and then headed to pay with Loki following you from behind.

While you were walking back home, you were wondering why Loki hadn't questioned the amount of food you had gotten.

You settled on the table all the food you got from the store and started to cook. You had bought spaghetti and meat, it was one of your favorites, and also the only thing you can cook by yourself.
"What on earth is that?" Loki asked while he had sneaked behind you from the chair he had sat on further. You flinched a bit. You had been so in your thoughts that you had forgotten him for awhile.
"It's spaghetti, you never had one?" you decided to ask. You really hated to be too careful all the time so you decided to try to ignore your wolf's overprotective side.
"No, that looks disgusting." Loki snarled and frowned at the same time.

You sighed and rolled your eyes.
"Everything seems to look disgusting to you." you grumbled and then started to fill your plate with the food. Even though Loki had thought your food was disgusting, he still looked at it curiously and clearly wondering if he should taste it or not.

You grabbed another plate from cabinet and settled it on the table next to the food you had made. You didn't say anything as you walked pass him and sat on a chair at the table.

Soon Loki had took the food too and sat down across from you.

You watched how he first poked the food with his fork, and then slowly and carefully tasted it. He looked surprised how good it was and it made you necessarily smile in amuse.
"Not bad little wolf." he admitted and grinned. He had noticed your smiling and it had made you blush a little. And Loki noticed that too.
"You are starting to warm up finally." He said with a little smirk on his lips.
"I promise I'm not gonna hurt you and you really should convince that to your wolf too." he added and shoved more food into his mouth. He seemed to like it a lot.

You really weren't so sure about his promise 'not to hurt you', but maybe you really should let your wolf trust him more. She had left earlier than you had thought anyways. And you knew there has to be a reason for that.
