Later in the morning you were heading downstairs to get some breakfast. Your wounds were still hurting, and healing slower than before. You may have to shift back to your wolf form later to heal them.

"What happened to you?" Nat asked concerned the second you had walked in. She came to you and checked your arms and leg. Thor was looking curiously from the kitchen while he ate his waffles and tried to stop Tony for taking them.
"It's nothing." you convinced her firmly and walked to the others to grab something to eat too.
"Not convincing me." Tony blurted and shoved a piece of Thor's waffle into his mouth while Thor was distracted.

You sighed and rolled your eyes as you took a box of cereal and milk, and walked back to the dining table.

Thor and Tony sat down with you while Nat walked back to the kitchen to make something ready to eat when lunch time comes.

"Tell us now, what on earth had happened to you last night? And don't tell me you stumbled and hurt yourself because I know it's not possible to you." Tony grumbled, and pointed at your bandages. Thor looked also worried while he was still eating his stupid waffles.
"It's nothing, I just got into a little fight with one of the pack members." you said like it was nothing.

"Just into a little fight?" Tony sighed in disbelief and looked at your still bleeding wounds.
"Did they attack you? Why?" Thor blurted out after he had finished his breakfast. He talked to you with gentle and loving tone, like a big brother.
"They just wanted me to join their pack again." you explained while you ate your cereal.
"And they decided to attack instead of just asking you nicely?" Tony said in little amuse. He usually didn't understand your ways in your old pack.
"Well, you really think it would have worked?" you asked with little chuckle following behind. It earned a laugh from Tony as well while he shook his head.
"I guess you're right."

"But why didn't you wake us when you came back? We could have helped." Thor asked, he was still worried.
"I think I can handle little bruises and bite marks by myself too." you said and smiled at him. You weren't going to tell him where you had spent your last night.

Right then Loki walked in and smiled a little when he saw you. He walked to the kitchen and came back soon with a cup of tea and sandwich (probably made by Nat). Natasha was walking behind him and they both joined you.

"Y/N, you have a new shirt? It suits you." Nat said as she saw your borrowed shirt from Loki. You tried hard not to blush as you noticed that you had forgotten to take it off before coming downstairs. For your luck Loki didn't say anything but just smiled a little mischievously.
"That shirt seems familiar, have you wore it before?" Thor said and glanced at your shirt.
"I just haven't use it a lot before." you made an excuse and glanced at Loki again who still looked amused by the situation. Thor nodded in response, even though he didn't seem like he had believed you.

"Feeling better already?" Loki asked after he had appeared to the library, where you were reading and trying to get some rest, so you could heal your bruises. You nodded in response and lifted your head up to look at him.
"I'm sorry.. I forgot to take this off." you mumbled and pointed at his shirt, which you were still wearing. Loki laughed and sat on the couch.
"It's alright little wolf." he said gently, with kind smile on his face. You actually never had seen him smiling like that except when he was alone with you.

"Your wounds..." he said then, glancing at your bandages which were still bleeding through.
"They're just healing slowly because they were made by another werewolf." you explained. Loki looked at you little surprised, he hadn't expected that you would give him more details about your wolf-side.
You were actually pretty surprised too. After last night, you had noticed that you didn't feel so unprotected near him anymore. When he had got to the dining room with the rest of you, you didn't feel the urge of protecting yourself as usual. Your wolf really has a thing with that god of mischief, doesn't she?

"There is no way to make them heal faster?" Loki asked. He sounded little concerned which was little confusing. Why would he still be worried about you? You barely knew each other.

You nodded in response and with little hesitation, you decided to tell him.
"If I turn back into a wolf." you explained shortly and looked down at your book.
"Why hadn't you shifted then?" he asked, now more curiously than before. Loki seemed to be interested of your kind.

You shrugged in response.

"I don't mind if you do." Loki said and looked deep into your eyes. You smiled a little in reply. Seemed like Loki were really interested about your wolf.
Then you decided to stood up and walk out of the room. You didn't want to shift when someone was watching.

You came back in black fur and on four feet. Loki smiled, he weren't even scared or disgusted. Usually people were, but Loki, he just seemed like he liked your wolf form. Which was little weird.

You limped back still little painfully and Loki looked at you pitying and concerned.
"I thought only alphas could make that bad bruises that they wouldn't heal fast enough." Loki said as you jumped back to the couch. You tilted your head, you didn't quite understand where he had got that information from. Loki gave a laugh in little embarrassment.
"I did a little research about werewolves.." he stuttered and rubbed the back of his neck. You shook your head in amuse. Then you looked at him again.
"Where?" he asked like he knew what you were thinking.
"I found a book of werewolves." he chuckled and it earned an amused huff from you too. You knew those books only tells its readers some garbage about werewolves. Just absolutely nonsense. Humans knew nothing about your kind, nothing.

"I'll show it to you." Loki said then and stood up to head to the shelfs. Soon he came back with huge book of werewolves. Loki sat down and signed you to come closer to look. You hesitated first, but then decided to go. You were more confident in your wolf form around him and you could easily protect yourself, even though you were injured.
You sat down next to him and Loki opened the book. He searched the right page and started to read it to you.

You huffed and rolled your eyes to those foolish texts.

"I assume that meant that this book isn't telling me the whole truth about your kind, little wolf." Loki smirked and you shook your head in response.
"Those pesky humans really don't know anything about you, am I right?" Loki said and gave a look at you with gentle smile on his lips. You nodded with little huff following afterwards.

/Better if they don't/ you thought. Loki smiled and nodded, like he had just heard your thoughts. You tilted your head a little again in confusion. Loki laughed at your expression.
"You're pretty easy to understand even when you're a wolf." he explained and turned back to his book. You just stared at him in confusion. You didn't understand how he even understood you in general.

"Is it true that...." Loki started but stopped right there when you both heard someone coming to your way. Thor entered to the library with a bowl of popcorn in his hands.
"Hi brother, I was just looking for you. I wanted to ask if you would care to join us to our movie night." Thor asked and threw a popcorn into his mouth.
"I don't really care about your movie nights." Loki snarled and rolled his eyes.

"Well, that was predictable." Thor sighed. "I'll go ask Y/N then, maybe she's more interested about hanging with her team." Thor grumbled. He was little offended that Loki didn't even try to fit in. He turned around, walked away with grumpy steps and headed to look for you.
"Good luck with that.." Loki mumbled and grinned when he turned to look at you. Thor hadn't noticed you, which actually were just a good thing. You didn't want him to question why you were hanging out with his mischievous brother.
