"Y/N?" Loki interrupted your reading carefully. You two were sitting on the couch in the library and reading. The team had gone to another mission and had forced you to babysit Loki. They still didn't trust him enough to take him with them on the missions.

"What?" you asked, little frustrated.

"Why is everyone so concerned about you meeting your old pack?" he asked firmly. Loki had got too confident and just started to pop out those questions.
"Well, do I have to remind you what they did in the night of a full moon?" you replied. Loki glanced at his hands in embarrassment, he surely did remember.
"My old pack really doesn't... appreciate me anymore." you mumbled, not really wanting to talk about it. But Loki attached his eyes on you, he wanted to know more.

"It's a long story and I rather not talk about it anyway." you added and turned down his questions. Loki thought it for awhile and you saw in his eyes how he wasn't going to give up.
"You know, it would be easier me to understand your wolf if you just tell me." he bid you. You looked down at your hands, trying to fight the urge to tell. Your wolf wanted him to know, but you didn't. Why she had to act like that? She had started to trust too much to that mischievous god.

You sighed heavily, giving up to your wolf and trying to even once trust to someone. Loki had proved several times that he wasn't anything like your pack and maybe even someone who was worthy of your trust.

"Hey, it's alright little wolf. I won't judge, I don't even have any rights to do so." Loki tried gently to convince you more. You looked at him confused, what he had meant by that? That might be something you will ask him about later.

"I left the pack... by my own will." you started, still being too unsure should you trust him or not. Loki came little closer to you as a sign that you didn't have anything to be embarrassed or scared of. "And it was caused by my father." you managed to say since it was very hard to you to talk about your father.
"Did he do something to you?" Loki asked concerned, he had already expected the worst.
"He died, Loki." you replied firmly. You had to fight the coming tears you felt in your eyes. Thinking about your father dying, and seeing it all over again hurted you mentally and physically more and more every time.

Loki frowned in shock first, but when he saw that hurting look on your face, he gently moved his hand above yours and grabbed it. You flinched and looked at him little scared. You had never let anyone to come this close to you for years.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?" he asked softly, tightening his grip a little more around your hand.
"It... it was the alpha. That.. stupid asshole killed my father." you started to feel the anger inside you. Your wolf tried hard to protect you from the painful truth. "My father, he was a good man. He only wanted to protect me from the pack and the alpha. He never liked the alpha's ways to act and rule the pack." you sighed. "And one day... my father had had enough of the alpha's bullshit and he got mad at him. Father tried to talk the alpha around, convince him that there was better ways to act. But the alpha didn't listen, and just right then when I got to my father a moment later, I saw him, almost defeated by the alpha. I sensed that he was going to die, he knew it too and just right before I managed to do anything to help him....
the alpha broke his neck and threw him off of the cliff.." you sighed in the end, you had managed to tell him the whole story without breaking in pieces. You actually didn't regret of telling him, you actually felt like a huge rock had been moved above your heart. It was relieving to tell even someone in the team about it.

Loki didn't say anything first but just looked at you with concerned and pitying look on his face. He clearly tried to process what you had just told him and find the best way to react without hurting you more.
"I'm so sorry little wolf." he said softly and placed his hand carefully and gently on your cheek. You looked down as your eyes started to water.
"You know, I had never told this to anyone, but I feel like it was.. my fault." you admitted, showing your hurt and weak side for the first time ever. But Loki seemed like he understood you, his smile was gentle and his green eyes looked at you softly.
Then he did something you would never thought of a god or even yourself. He leaned forwards and grabbed you inside his arms and hugged you tightly, not letting you out of his arms. First you felt the fear running through your body but right after it followed the feeling of comfort and safety.
"It's not your fault, love." he bid you gently. You leaned your head against his chest and felt how surprisingly cold it was, but you didn't care at this point.

And also for your surprise, you felt more safer than ever before. Your wolf had felt comfortable around Loki for some reason from the very beginning. She liked to be in his arms, and so did you too.

"Guys we're back, would you like some..." Nat came in suddenly and you threw yourself out of Loki's arms the second you heard her entering in. You hadn't heard her coming since your wolf had been so comfortable after a very long time.
"Sorry.. did I interrupt something?" she grinned and looked at you. Now she had something to tease you with even more and she had finally got her proves of you and Loki getting closer.

"Not at all." Loki replied dryly, trying to sound like there hadn't happened anything important.
"You sure?" Nat kept teasing you two with smirk on her face.
"Yes Nat, did you have something?" you replied little frustrated. You felt really embarrassed that she had saw you in that situation, comforted and weak.
"Oh right... I came here to ask if you'd like some pizza. We were too exhausted to cook after the mission." she replied and stopped teasing you two. Although you saw in her face how she would like to still do it, but she also knew how embarrassed you were so she decided to let it go.

Loki turned at you with gentle smile.
"Do you feel better enough to join others?" he asked, lowering his voice a bit so Nat couldn't hear and get too worried. You nodded in reply and then all three of you headed upstairs without saying anything to each other and pretending that Nat hadn't seen anything.

"There our lovebirds are!" Tony rejoiced as you walked in. They were already ordering the pizzas. You raised your eyebrows and saw Loki grinning in amusement.
"Alright, what you'd like to have?" Nat interrupted Tony's teasing since she knew what you were thinking about it.
"Anything with chicken on it." you replied firmly and walked over to the others and sat down.
"And what about our prince charming?" Tony teased again and it earned quiet growl from you.
"Okay stop already, Stark." Thor bid him, he had seen how uncomfortable you two were at the moment.

"Is it my fault that those two seem to like hang out together a lot recently?" he kept teasing. You gave a look at Loki who looked little pissed and annoyed now. He didn't like how Tony teased you or him, he never had.
"Let's just order the pizzas." Steve got along with the conversation and stopped Tony for teasing you even more.
