You were in your room reading after an awkward pizza evening with the team. Tony had teased you and Loki which hadn't just annoyed only you two but the others too. Nobody else except Nat hadn't obviously noticed that there was something more between you and Loki (which you weren't going to admit of course). They didn't seem to believe it would be possible that there would be something between a werewolf and a god. Especially when the werewolf has a major trust issues.

But you also had to admit that Loki had won your wolf on his side even more and more during the past few days. You actually didn't know if it was a good thing or not.

You got suddenly interrupted as you heard a knock on your door. You walked over to it and opened the door.
"Thor?" you said surprised, he was carrying a basket with full of laundries.
"Hi lady Y/N, sorry for interrupting. I was doing my laundry and I saw yours done so I decided to bring them to you on my way to my room." he greeted you politely and handed you the basket. You smiled a little in return. Thor was always so nice and polite with you, especially when you have had a bad day (which usually were caused by Tony and his stupid jokes).

"Thanks." you replied kindly. Thor smiled and then turned around, closing your door before leaving.

You went to your wardrobe and started to unpack the basket.
And when you had almost unpacked them all, you found a green t-shirt from the bottom. It was Loki's t-shirt which you had borrowed earlier, and had forgotten to return it. You picked it up and sniffed it a little. It smelled just like him, mint and frost. You took the shirt with you as you walked out of your room and headed to the other side of your floor. Then you knocked carefully on Loki's door.
"Leave me alone Thor!" you heard Loki's snarling. You smirked in amuse as you spoke up. "It's me."

Loki opened his door and his eyes looked delighted when he saw you.
"Y/N? What are you doing here?" he asked curiously. He knew already that you hardly ever visited someone else's room.
"I found this." you mumbled and lifted up his shirt so he could see it better, and then handed it over to him.
"I had almost forgot.." Loki said and took it in his hands.
"Would you like to come in?" he asked then and moved aside from the doorway. You hesitated first, but then decided to go in.

His room was way more chillier than yours or any other rooms in the tower. You had only noticed it now, even though you had been there once before.

After Loki had placed his shirt back were it belonged, he walked over to his couch and signed you to sit down with him.
"How are you feeling by the way?" he asked, sounding concerned again. You smiled a bit and sighed.
"I'm alright." you replied firmly, trying your best to sound very convincing.

"Thank you, by the way. You didn't tell anyone or judge me. I appreciate it more than you can imagine." you added then, lifting your eyes and attaching them with his.
"I understand you, and of course I'll keep it between us. I would never hurt you that way, little wolf." he replied gently, he grabbed your hand again and he was surprised that you didn't even flinch this time.

You considered his words, he promised he won't hurt you, but you had also heard that before from someone else and it hadn't ended well.

"I understand it was hard for you to open up to me, I really do." in Loki's voice was something mischievous but loving while he talked. "And I want to promise you, that I won't ever hurt you like that or let anyone to do that again to you either." he said firmly and you heard the sound of a truth in his voice. You were pretty good at detecting lies and this one wasn't a lie, even though it came from the mouth of god of lies.

You smiled softly in return. You really wanted to believe him and so did your wolf.

The day before the full moon had landed on the earth again. You were trying to get up from your bed to get to the kitchen for breakfast. Your head was burning and you felt the exhaustion taking over your body and your wolf disappearing into nothing. Even though there was nothing to be scared of, you felt the feeling of unprotection.

And it wasn't nice.

Even when you felt already hot, you still grabbed your blanket on your way to the kitchen and wrapped it around you. You went to the elevator and headed few floors down. You peeked out when the door slid open, just in case that there was someone who didn't belong there. But for your luck, there was only Nat, Steve and Tony, eating their breakfast.

"Morning Y/N, want some pancakes?" Nat greeted you kindly as she saw you walking towards them. You nodded in reply and sat down while she went to the kitchen to get you some.
"Everything alright?" Steve asked concerned as he saw your exhausted looking face.
"Looks like the full moon is coming again." Tony spoke up for you after he had noticed how sick you looked. You nodded in reply and right at the same time Nat came back with a plate full of pancakes.
"Maybe this will cheer you up." she bid you kindly with gently smile.

"Thanks." you mumbled and took a bite. You didn't know why, but you felt a lot different than before. Even your appetite seemed to be gone since you only ate two pancakes of those all what Nat had gathered for you. Nat noticed it too since she was looking at you concerned.
"Is everything alright? You had barely even touched your food." she pointed out and it got Steve's and Tony's attention too.
"I'm fine, I'm just not hungry." you replied.
"Lucky for you that I am." you heard Clint appearing to the dining room and he grabbed your plate and sat down next to Nat.
Nat glared at him while Clint looked back with confused expression on his face.
"Since when you hadn't been hungry at the day before full moon?" Tony snarled. You rolled your eyes a bit.
"Since this day perhaps." you replied and wrapped yourself more inside your blanket.

"Hey don't annoy her Stark." Nat told him and gave you a gentle smile. You smiled in reply and as a thanks to her for standing up for you.

Then you stood up from your chair to head back to your room since you had lost your appetite.
"You sure you're not hungry?" Nat asked before you could leave.
"Yeah, I'll just go back to my room to rest." you convinced her and the others before you left them there to eat their breakfast.

You were lying on your couch in huge fever, it was almost worse than ever before. You didn't even have the powers to stand up and get yourself into cold shower even though you really would have wanted to. And now you just had to stay there and sweat in your hot body.

Gosh you felt so horrible and exhausted.

Then you heard your door opening and you flinched a bit. You managed to open your eyes just a little to see who it was.
"Y/N?" you heard Loki's concerned voice. You sighed in relief as you realized it was just him and no one was going to attack.
He walked slowly and carefully over to you, probably feeling unsure if he was allowed to come or not.

He knelt in front of you and pressed his hand on your forehead.
"You're burning." he said. Then you closed your eyes again, you were too tired to keep them open.
"I heard you didn't even touch your food, and you're literally on fire. What's wrong?" he asked sounding very very concerned now.
"I'm... I'm alright... I just need a... cold shower." you managed to say under your heavy breaths. Loki didn't wait any longer and he lifted you up on his arms. He was cold and it already made you feel a little better.

He carried you into your bathroom and laid you down on the bathtub.
"Thank you." you huffed. Loki understood your sign and he stood up to leave.
"If you need help, just ask." he said and then left you to take off your clothes in peace.

After you had took a fresh and cooling shower, you managed to stood up and wrap yourself inside to your towel. The shower had helped a lot, but you still felt worse than ever. You didn't even know the reason for that.
You grabbed your clothes from the floor and threw them into you laundry basket. Then you slowly opened the door and walked in the living room.
"Are you feeling any better?" you heard Loki's concerned voice from the couch and it made you to flinch again. You had thought that he would had left but apparently not.

"A little yeah." you mumbled and walked into your bedroom to dress up.
