You were hopelessly trying your best to keep the wolf inside you.
"Cmon not yet.." you grumbled at her as you were wandering around the library. Your wolf was extremely protective on the day of the full moon, it was the day she was closest to you.
But after your painful and helpless resisting, you finally had enough of it and decided to give up. Slowly, your body took the shape of the wolf and your hands and feet turned into four legs. Your black fur covered your skin and your sharp teeth pushed their way in. Now there was no possible way to turn back into a human again. If you changed your forms the day of the full moon before the moon rises, you couldn't turn back before the sun would rise again.

You sighed very heavily and growled a little. This wasn't what you wanted at all. You really needed to practice to control your wolf better. It didn't matter among the old pack, but now when you were living with humans, it mattered a lot.
Then you decided to jump on the couch and curl up on the corner. This was a good place to take a little nap and hide from the team. You didn't want them to know how badly you actually managed to control the wolf inside you.

You snapped awake as you felt someone sitting down on the other side of the couch. You turned your head quickly towards the person, but quickly after that you sighed in relief as you realized that it was just Loki.
"Relax Y/N, it's just me." he blurted and lift the book in his hands up on the level of his eyes. You huffed in reply and turned your back at him and laid your head down on your paws. You just wanted to ignore his presence since you were still little too pissed.

And there actually were a few good minutes of silence before you heard Loki sighing and putting his book back down.
"Are you alright?" he asked. You hadn't expected him to ask that as you turned around and nodded in reply.
"Then why is your wolf here?" Loki asked and you pouted. You didn't like his "smart-ass" side.
"Don't be like that little wolf, I know how their behavior must had annoyed you.. and especially your wolf." Loki snarled and looked at you. Then you growled at his sympathy in return.
"No really, I would had acted the same way in your situation." he replied and smirked, but you just growled again.
"Hey, don't be mad at me lady wolf." Loki snarled but kept the smirk on his lips.
You just rolled your eyes and huffed as you laid your head back down on the couch.

You didn't want to admit it, but it was impressive how well Loki seemed to understand you even in your wolf form. Maybe a little strange but too, but impressive.

Couple hours passed in silence since Loki had realized it to be best if he lets you chill out a bit.
But then you heard how his book settled down on the table again and you felt the weight of the god slowly inching closer to you. But you still decided to keep your eyes shut as you growled at him a little in return as you felt him getting little too close.
"Easy, i'm not gonna come closer." he murmured in amusement. "Seriously Y/N, is that growling really necessary?" he added sarcastically, but you growled again as your eyes snapped open. Then Loki sighed heavily and looked into your yellow wolf eyes.
"Wouldn't it be easier anyways to transform back to human so you wouldn't have to growl at me all the time?" he snarled and looked at you with hope in his green eyes. But you shook your head instead and huffed.
"You.. can't?" he asked confused with the most british accent you have ever heard, and you sighed and nodded in reply. It was annoying that you couldn't explain it properly, and you were pretty sure that he wouldn't understand you that far anyways if you had even tried to.

Then Loki looked over his shoulder and began to look for something. He got up and walked over to the bookshelfs. You followed his moves as he tried to find something from there, and a moment later, he came back with a heavy book in his hands.
"Let's see then." he told you and sat back down next to you with the book of werewolves. You couldn't help the coming smirk on your lips as you realized what he wanted to do. It was kind of cute that he wanted to learn about your kind that badly and you appreciated it. No one else in the team hadn't been that interested in you.

You peeked over his shoulder and followed him as he browsed through the pages.
"What about this?" he said as he found the right page and started to read it.
"This says that humans turn into werewolves once a month.. and aren't capable to do it any other day. Well, I assume that's not right since I have seen you as a wolf before.." Loki said in little amusement as you huffed. "..But this isn't telling me about.. this." he continued and pointed at your wolf.
Loki had got very frustrated as he had realized that he wasn't capable to figure out your problem by himself this time. But you quite enjoyed of that annoyed look on his face, it was funny. And Loki had seemed to notice it too as he aggressively shut the book and crossed his arms with frown on his face.

"You find this kind of funny don't you?" he grumbled and you grinned, showing your sharp fangs to him. "Fine, keep your secrets then." he snarled and stood up. You watched him as he walked over to the window and peeked out. His frustrated face switched into concern as he glanced through it.

"It's late already." he told you then with softened voice, and you glanced at the clock. And he was right, your time together had gone fast without you even realizing it.
But then you sighed heavily as you remembered what Steve and Tony had told you earlier, and you knew they would make sure that you wouldn't leave the tower, and rather lock you up inside a cell than let you leave.
"Don't worry.." Loki said then as he noticed your despair. "I have a plan."
You looked up at him as he walked over to you. "Now come on." he added and signed you to go with him. You hesitated first, but then jumped off the couch and followed him to your unknown destination, wondering what he had in mind this time.

He led you out of the library and started to walk down the stairs. But you didn't follow him there but just stood still on the edge. Loki turned around and frowned.
"What are you waiting for?" he asked and placed his hands on his waist. You growled in return, trying to tell him that you couldn't get out of the tower as long as Tony and the others were in there.
"It wouldn't hurt you to trust me even once." he sighed, but he was wrong. It definitely would hurt.

"If you want out of here before the moon lands, you should follow me now. I don't believe that my illusion will distract them endlessly." he grumbled then in despair. You just frowned and tilted your head in return.
"Yes, I made an illusion of us to distract the team so I could get you out of this ridiculous building. And yes, I can do stuff like that." Loki tried to stay patient as he explained. "So would you mind to come with me now?" he added in frustration. But you were quite flattered that he had done such a thing just to get you out of the tower.
You huffed in reply and then started to walk down the stairs and decided to follow that mischievous trickster god for once.
"Wise decision little wolf." he smiled and led you all the way down the stairs to the doors, and out of the building.

He walked with you a few miles until you two were on the edge of the woods. You had chosen to go to the other side of the city, far away from the woods your team had chosen for you to use during the full moons. And even more further from your pack's territory. Neither of them wouldn't find you easily from here, and only Loki knew where you had gone. And you just needed to believe his word that he wouldn't tell anyone.
But he had also helped you all the way here, so maybe you could trust him with this even a little bit.

You looked up at the sky. The moon had almost risen, and it was your time to go.
Loki knelt down in front of you with kind smile on his lips.
"Promise me you will stay safe and that you won't try to find your old pack. I don't want you to... get hurt again." Loki told you firmly, but you just rolled your eyes in return.
"Seriously Y/N, don't make me regret this." Loki replied. Your smirk disappeared as you realized that he really sounded like he cared. But that couldn't be true, how could he care about a monster like you?

Then you huffed as a thanks to him, hoping that he would understand it. And he did.
"You're welcome." he replied, and then slowly and carefully he offered you his hand. You let him slowly pet your head a little, before you stood up and headed into the woods.
