Once upon a time,

A five year old girl smiled up at the stars,

Her mind was filled with wonder,

Her smile was real and true,

She dreamed of being a princess,

And living in a castle,

And no one broke her heart,

Five years have passed,

And her dreams have changed,

She doesn't want to be a princess,

She wants to have her own family,

She wants to fall in love,

the dream however had not consumed her,

she starts to see the bad in people,

she starts to lose her friends,

and she switched schools once more,

at thirteen she she finds comfort in music,

she has little to no friends,

she only wishes to find her true love,

And on one magical day she lays her eyes on him,

he is perfect in her eyes,

he does not notice her,

she is ugly and fat,

but when she went to the middle school dance with a boy that liked her she dressed up for the boy and he didn't even show up to the dance,

At fourteen she talked to him for the first time,

she walked home behind him,

and he smiled at her,

abd she wished to be pretty enough for him,

they started to text but never talked,

they stared at one-another,

and only he knew for sure that she liked him,

And then,

right before her fifteenth birthday,

they told he liked her,

but when she asked him he didn't answer,

and as suspected it was all a joke,

and he knew but never told her,

and now he stares at her in the hall,

and she wants to hate him but she can't,

and she doesn't know why,

and she can't get over how sad she is,

and she loves his smile,

and she hates him for it,

but she hates herself more,

because she's never good enough,
