He waits for her to say "got ya!", but those words never leave her mouth.
"I have to leave, and you have to move on."
"But I love you! I can't breathe without you!"
"I love you too," She says with a quivering lip.
"Then why are you walking away?"
"Because I loved you so much that I forgot to leave room to love myself!" She screams pushing at his chest. "I love you so much it hurts to breathe, but I can't love you, or anyone for that matter, when I hate myself so thoroughly."
"Babe.." He pleads.
"No!" She growls. "No, I'm sorry," she's crying now. "I'm sorry I broke your heart! I'm sorry I let you love me, I'm sorry I can't stay. I'm sorry," She turns and walks away before he can change her mind.
