Sinking

I've been stabbed ever so slowly

They say your gone

You were just right here

You can't be gone

The blade goes in another inch

We were smiling

We were laughing

We were falling

Deeper it goes, all the way to the other side

Your gone

Your in that box

Your smile is sewn shut

Twist, crank

My heart has been ripped from my chest

It's been thrown on the floor

I've picked it up and buried it with you

Though I'm dead I must live on

You have my heart forever and always

My gut has been twisted and cut and ripped open

My body is damaging itself

And it's all because your gone that I got stabbed through and through

It's because of your absence and your choice that this sinking feeling destroyed me,
