Digital Diary; I went to bed soon after he left. I couldn't help but feel bad for him. Yeah, I know. Me feeling bad for a villain. Insane! But really honestly, unless he's a psycho, there's no way he's just killing for fun, he's gotta be hurting deep down. I have no idea what would cause it, but I feel bad for him. Anywho, I'm on my way to school right now, so I'll have to write more later! I turned off my phone and dropped it in my purse. Once I arrived at school I was greeted by Nino and Alya. Adrien stepped out of his car about a minute after I arrived. "Hey guys" he said, fist bumping Nino and giving me a side hug. "What's up Adrien? Uh…"

I couldn't help but stare at him in confusion. He was wearing a beanie? He never wears beanies, like ever. "Oh, my hair was being wack today so I slapped a beanie on" he said, rubbing the back of his neck obviously embarrassed. Okay, that would make sense. I nodded, then we all walked inside. We all decided to go and sit in class early, and to just talk in there until the bell rang. On our way in, Adrien tripped over one of the steps and fell forward, causing his beanie to fall off and flu a few steps ahead of him. "Adrien! Are you okay?" I exclaimed, running towards him. "Yeah, I just tripped. Don't worry Mari, I'm okay" I grabbed his beanie then reached my hand towards him to get up. "Your hair doesn't look wack to me-- wait what happened to your forehead?" I could see a bit of a bandage sticking out from under his hair. He looked down at his feet, not responding.

I lightly lifted his head up, then brushed his hair away from his face. He was wearing some.. gauze? What had happened? It looked kind of similar to the gauze I put on Chat Blanc's head. Unless he was… no. Adrien might be cold and dense, but he wouldn't kill anyone! At least I don't think.. "Thank you, Mari. Can I have my beanie back though?" He asked, obviously nervous. "Uh.. yeah" I reached my hands over his head and pulled the beanie over his head. He adjusted it slightly and gave me a warm smile. Not a half one a full one.

Alyas' jaw dropped. And I mean dropped. "I guess mister cold blood really can smile" she said, cocking an eyebrow. Adrien grinned at me, then turned to her and frowned. "Only for the best. I guess that's why I've never smiled at you" Adrien sarcastically said, sitting down in his seat. Now my cheeks were getting red. I sat down next to her to see her now fuming, smoke practically spewing out of her ears. She looked at me and glared. "You're so lucky I haven't just killed that man yet" she said, making sure she was loud enough for him to hear her. I giggled and playfully bumped her shoulder. "Oh you're fine. Seems like you two are getting along great! Don't you think so, Nino?" I sarcastically said, while using my hands to point at Alya and Adrien. Nino chuckled. "Definitely, their best buds" Nino said with a chuckle.

Soon the first bell rang, and our classmates began coming to class. Our teacher arrived right after the second bell rang. "Alright class, today we'll be learning…." She went on and on, but I couldn't help but think about Adrien. The way his smile was so pure. I swear, it could light up every candle existing, even without any source of fire. Yeah he was pretty dense most of the time, but we've only known him for about 3 months now! I think he's finally warming up to me, which is amazing. I hope I can be an amazing friend to him. Not to mention, Chat Blanc was actually nice to me. I'm surprised I stood up to him so well! I hope I can be a good friend of his too. I hope he's okay.. I was soon snapped out of my train of thought. "Marinette!" My teacher called. "Yes miss?" I asked in reply. "I've called your name 5 times now, and you still weren't replying! Would you mind telling the class what your brain is so focused on?" I stared at her blankly, until my face frowned. "I'm sorry miss, I've been worried about the whole Chat Blanc incident. I just hope everyone's okay." I said. I wasn't entirely lying, because I was worried about Chat, and I hoped he was okay. The teacher cleared her throat and nodded. "just try to pay attention" she said, then getting back to class. I noticed Adrien looking straight down at his desk. Was he nervous? Did I say something wrong? I hope I didn't upset him at all. I began taking notes and copying what Alya had noted so I wouldn't have to start tutoring.

A/N: Hey! I believe what I'm going to do is post 2 chapters every Sunday, depending on how much I can produce. I've written up to chapter 8 at this point, but a lot of it I messed up in so I need to re-write it. Thank you all for your patience!!!
