Marinettes pov
"Wow, your room is huge!" I said, looking around his room. He nodded in agreement and lightly chuckled. "I'll be right back, I'm going to go change real fast" I nodded and walked over to his windows. I gazed upon the view from his room, then turned my attention to the sky. It was still pretty cloudy, so the chances of it raining were decent. I sighed, then walked to his bed and sat on the edge of it as I waited for him to return. When he returned, he picked up his bag and smiled. He was eating his every day outfit, and it still looked good on him. We headed out of his room to see..... his father at the bottom of the stairs?? "Marinette, thank you for letting my son stay the night at your place. I hope he wasn't any trouble." Gabriel said in a monotone voice. "Of course, Mister Agreste! He was no trouble at all!" I said in reply. He nodded then walked back to his office. "Gorilla will take you both to school" Gabriel said before closing the door. We walked outside to see Gorilla and Nathalie already in the car waiting for us. Adrien walked ahead of me and opened the car door for me.
The car drive to school wasn't long, but it was silent. Very silent. Not an awkward kind of silent, it was just quiet. Once we arrived, Adrien got out then ran to my side and opened the door for me again. I thanked him and got out, to see Alya and Nino shocked. Very very shocked. I waved and nervously smiled at them, as Adrien waved by to his bodyguard. The second the were gone, he walked next to me and wrapped his arm behind me and around my waist. He didn't show any sign of emotion anymore, he was just cold again. I smiled at the gesture and we walked inside, then sat in class early again. I remembered that we forgot to change his bandage this morning, so I wrote a note and passed it to him. "meet me on the balcony at 7, I'll take you in and change your bandage since we forgot this morning" it read.
Alya came over and dragged me away, claiming she had something important to tell me before Adrien had replied to the note I passed him. She dragged me into the locker room, then quickly shut the door. "What's so 'important'?" I said to her sarcastically. "Girl. What was that?! Why's he being so nice to you? I don't get it." I chuckled and shrugged. "I don't know! Last night we watched a movie, then the power went out and we ended up cuddling and talking for awhile, then we both fell asleep like that and ever since then he'd been all sorts of clingy to me!" I said. Her jaw dropped. "Girl. He's love sick. Over you" she said pointing at me. I shook my head and giggled.
"There's no way. After all, yesterday he said we were just.. friends" I said wincing at the memory. She grabbed my shoulders and lightly shook me. "How dense are you, Mari?! You tell him he's just your friend all the time! So what's the difference when he says it?! I can tell he likes you a lot, and he's probably only saying you're just a friend because he doesn't think you feel the same!" She said staring at me in all seriousness. She was right. My heart and stomach began to flutter, remembering how he held me while I wept and how he danced with me to our song. Our song. I began lightly blushing, Alya picked up on it quickly. She cocked an eyebrow and folded her arms staring me down.
"Girl what happened while I was gone?" She said teasingly. "Okay well.. you remember the song him and I danced to at Chloe's party? Well.. this morning it was playing and we slow danced in my room to it for at least a solid 3 minutes until I realized we needed to get dressed" I sputtered out, then smacked my hands on my face to cover the 7 shades of red on it. She began squealing and giggling. "Girl. You have to tell him how you feel like ASAP" she said. I looked up at her and let out a soft laugh. "I have gotten better at talking to him for the most part.. I don't know that's so hard though! Every time I try I just turn to mush!" I exclaimed. "Well he's never going to pick up on hints, so just blurt it out sometime or write it down on a note" she said. I groaned heavily and smacked my hands on my face again. "Why can't just tell him?" Almost in cue Adrien walked into the locker room. "Tell who what?" He asked, opening his locker and pulling out a book. "AAAH-- uh-- n-nothing!! Nothing at all.." I sputtered out. He chuckled softly, closed his locker than walked over to me and pecked my cheek. "Whatever you say, strawberry" he said walking out of the locker room. "I think my knees are going to give out" I whispered in awe.
"Okay. So. We need a plan." Alya said sitting on one of the benches in the locker room. I joined her on one of the benches, then turned my gaze to her with a puzzled look. "A plan for what?" "To tell him how you feel! Okay, what if I planned a sleep over this weekend or something? Or what if you invited him over to hang out" She said wiggling her eyebrows at me. "I don't know, Alya. I don't know how to tell him! I can't say it. Definetly can't say it." I mumbled. The bell rand and we got up and began heading to class. "You can do it girl. I believe in you. Besides, it's Thursday. You still have today and tomorrow to plan, and if you need to wait another week then wait another week! But I'm not letting you go without telling him any longer than by next Sunday, or I'll tell him. Got it?" She glared at me. I groaned heavily, letting my head fall in defeat. "Fine" I mumbled. We linked pinkies. Great. Now I'm doomed.
