Chapter 17 - Photo Shoots

Marinettes pov

        Alya's jaw dropped. "I'm so happy for you guys!!!!" Alya said smiling brightly. She sat down next to us and we talked until Nino arrived. Once Nino arrived we all headed inside and talked until class started. The school day felt like it took forever to go by, probably because it was a Friday. Once the school day ended we all headed outside and hung around the entrance waiting for our rides. "Hey guy, how about we all go on a picnic tomorrow?" Alya asked with a smile. We all said yes and discussed who will bring what. Adrien's car soon arrived, but before he got in he asked his driver something then opened the door and stared at me, waiting for me to get in. "Come on Mari, I take you home" Adrien said with a smile. I started walking over and before I could protest, he helped me in then got in behind me and shut the door. He waved bye to Alya and Nino, the. We were off. "It's nice to see you again, Marinette. I'm glad to hear you and Adrien are dating" Nathalie said. My face turned flush red and I nodded.

"Y-yes, thank you!" I said with a smile. She only merely nodded in reply. Instead of stopping at my house, we just drove past it. "Uh.. Adrien we just passed my house..?" I said confused as hell. "Yeah, I may have lied about the taking you home part" he said with a nervous smile. I looked at him confused, then saw we were approaching his house. Oh no. I'm meeting his dad, aren't I? I didn't know j was meeting him right now! slowly turned my head to him wish a shocked face and he couldn't help but giggle. "Don't worry, I've already told him about you. It's going to go fine" Adrien said with a reassuring smile. I sighed and nodded back. "Wait do my parents know?" I asked. He nodded with a smile.

We arrived at the Agreste mansion, Adrien opened the car door for me, helping me out. "Thank you, Adrien" I said with a smile. He nodded in response. Our hands interlocked again, and he led me inside. His father was standing in the center of the room, waiting for us to arrive. "Good afternoon, Marinette. It's a pleasure seeing you again" Gabriel said with no emotion. I smiled softly. "It's a pleasure being here, thank you for having me" I said kindly. He nodded and lead us to the dining room. Adrien and I sat on one end of the long table, and his father sat at the other end. "So, has my son told you why you are here?" Gabriel asked. "No, he hasn't" I said kindly. Gabriel nodded once in response. "Since you are dating my son, I was wondering if you would be interested in modeling with him." His father asked calmly.

My eyes widened. Is he being serious? Respond Marinette, what are you doing?! "That would be a delight, Mister Agreste. I would love to" I said as calmly as I could. He nodded in response. "I will have Adrien keep you updated with dates and times of photo shoots, then we'll take you." Gabriel said. I nodded in response. "Thank you, it truly is an honor" he nodded in reply, then stood up and left the room.

"I wasn't expecting that to go so fast" Adrien said to me. "Oh, well we could go and do something if you want" I suggested. "Yeah, why not? What should we do though?" I hummed thinking. "Why don't we just go for a walk, then go from there?" Adrien nodded and smiled. We both got up, but instead of going straight out the door, he lead me to his room. "first though, I'm going to give you a different jacket because that one isn't very warm"

I nodded and smiled, then took off the jacket I was wearing and handed it to him. He opened his closet and pulled out a velvet red hoodie, then tossed it to me. I pulled it over my head and arms. So warm.. I nuzzled into it and smiled. "Thank you, Adrien" he smiled, then walked over to me and hugged me tightly. "You're too cute" he mumbled. I giggled and hugged him back. "You're a lot more affectionate then I ever thought you would be" I said. He backed away and folded his arms. "Am not" he said, pouting that he got called out. "C'mon, let's go" I said. He nodded, and we left his house.

We began walking around Paris, talking and laughing. We came up on the park and decided to go in and take a stroll at the park. "Okay, what could we do..." I thought out loud. Adrien hummed thinking. "Hey! I've got it!" I exclaimed. He turned to me and smiled. "What's your idea?" I clicked open my phone to see it was only 4:23pm. "What if we went to the ice rink? We could invite Nino and Alya too!" I said happily. Adrien nodded and smiled. "that sounds like a great idea"
