Marinettes pov
We both grabbed a controller and selected our characters, then began to play. We played about 7 rounds, me winning all of them. "Holy shit you're good! How do you win every round?" He asked turning to me. "I actually have a cheat" I said, reaching into my pocket. I pulled out a string with some beads on it. "Are you messing with me right now?" Adrien asked. "Not at all. This is my lucky charm! Here, try it!" I said, passing the piece of jewelry to him. He took it and slipped it in his pocket. We played another 3 rounds, with him winning them all. "I guess you weren't kidding then, huh?" I chuckled and turned off my computer. "Not one bit" I turned over to my clock, to see it was now 9:47pm. "Hey, want to watch a movie now? I just remembered we talked about that, and it's not even 10 yet"
He nodded. "Yeah, that sounds great! Where do you want to watch it? Like on the floor or the chaise or-" his voice trailed off at the end. "we could just watch it in my bed, it would be more comfortable and there's more room. If you're comfortable with that of course!!" I sputtered out, grabbing my phone and opening Netflix. "Yeah that's fine with me" I smiled and nodded, climbing up onto my bed, then he flowed behind me. "So.. how do you want to position this?" He mumbled. I hummed looking at the space. There wasn't a lot of space, but there was enough for two people. "Okay just let down right there, facing towards me and then we can prop my phone up in the middle with a pillow" I said, turning on my side on the left side of my bed. He nodded and layed on the right side facing me. We propped my phone up between us and began watching a comedy movie.
Occasionally throughout the movie there was some thunder here and there, causing both of us to jump then laugh. The movie ended sooner than I was expecting. 10:34pm my phone read. I began thinking of what we could do until 11, then a loud bang sounded outside and my lights went out, causing me to yelp and curl into a ball. "Looks like the power went out, how fun" Adrien said sarcastically. I groaned in annoyance. "Well, it's only 10:36 now, so do you want to just talk until 11 or do you want to crash early?" He turned over onto his back now staring at the ceiling. "I'm down to talk" I smiled in relief. "Good because I don't particularly want to be alone right now" I mumbled, now turning on my back and staring at the ceiling aswell. "How come?" He asked, turning his gaze to me.
"I don't like it when there's thunder and when the power goes out. It always scares me." I turned my gaze to him, then he readjusted a bit and opened his arms. "Want a hug for comfort? If not it's okay" I nodded and scooted closer to him, wrapping my arms around him and tucking my head into the crook of his neck. "Hey, Adrien?" I asked softly. "Yes, Mari?" "Thank you for being nice to me" he turned his head down and looked at me, so I looked up at him, only to realize our faces were only about an inch apart. "Of course, Mari. You're the nicest person I know, so it's only fair that I'm the same to you" he whispered to me, closing his eyes and softly smiling. I closed my eyes as well, bonking my forehead against his. "Adrien?" I whispered. He softly hummed a yes in reply. "Do.. do you think that Chat Blanc is evil..?" I whispered nervously.
He took a sharp breath in and shot his eyes open at me. I opened my eyes and backed away from his face a bit. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" I mumbled. "No, it's okay" he said. "I don't think he's evil, I think he's just misunderstood. I think that there's good in him, but he just doesn't act that way." He whispered back to me in reply, his eyes were now softly closed again. I nodded in agreement. "Would you panic if I told you I knew him?" I whispered softly. He opened his eyes and softly smiled. "No. Just be safe around him." He whispered. I nodded and hummed a okay, then began playing with his hair. He smiled, and though it was dark I could tell his cheeks were tinged pink.
"I hope Chats okay" I whispered, then let out a soft sigh. "Why do you say that?" "Well.. last time it rained he hit his head on a rock and I had to give him stitches.. I just hope he isn't out tonight.." I whispered, as another loud bang struck, causing me to flinch, curl closer to him, and grasp his hair tightly. I released my grasp on his hair. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pull your hair" I whispered sadly. "It's okay, don't worry about it" he softly smiled at me and I smiled back. "Woah what happens here?" I moved some of his hair away from his face, revealing a bandage on his forehead. His face went pale.
Chat.. Blanc? He had the bandage in the same place.. and he hasn't stopped by since this morning.. oh my god.. is adrien..? He averted his eyes from me, he looked guilty. I reached for his hand and pulled it towards me, a ring on the same finger as Chat's.
"Adrien.. are you.. Chat Blanc?"
