Chapter 16 - Being His

Marinettes pov

        Laying next to him is so nice, even if we're not cuddling. Just his presence is nice. I still can't believe he asked me out! I never would have thought that someone like him would like someone like me. I thought. I looked over at the boy laying next to me, he then turned to look at me aswell. I think he read my mind, because he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him, then turned me on my side so I was laying on his chest. I nuzzled as close to him as I could, then wrapped my arms around him. We didn't really say anything for awhile, we just layed there. Holding eachother, and enjoying the company of one another, until my phone pinged. I grabbed my phone and unlocked it, just to find a notification from Google telling me about tomorrow's weather. I checked the time to see it was 10:34pm. Geez, time really flies by. "It's getting late you know" I said as I tossed my phone to the end of my bed.

"I know" he mumbled. I leaned up and kissed his cheek then buried my head in the crook of his neck. "You should go home, I'll see you at school tomorrow" I said softly. He nodded and sighed, sitting up. "Plagg, claws out" he mumbled. The small creature flew into his ring, a bright blue flash went over him and he was Chat Blanc again. I sat up next to him and smiled softly. He hugged me then kissed my forehead before climbing out of the hatch. Before he closed it he mini saluted. "Sweet dreams princess" he closed the hatch then with one last clank of his stick, he was off.

I finished the rest of the pastries that were on the plate, as I scrolled my social medias. Once I was finished, I climbed off my bed and set the plate on my desk, then shut off my lights. I climbed into the spot where Adrien was laying, the spot was still slightly warm from where he had layed. I sighed happily, then drifted off to sleep.

Its been two months since Adrien and I started dating. Its all been a dream come true! We haven't told may people yet though. The only people we've told are Alya and Nino, and I think he told Kagami? I'm not sure, but we decided wed tell everyone today. Today was the big day.

I woke up to my stupid alarm going off. I groaned and smacked the dismiss button. My mom opened my door. "Good morning, sweet heart! You have a guest!" I sat up and looked at her confused. "Ma it's like 7:30 in the morning who's here?" I asked looking at her confused. She only smiled and began walking downstairs. "get ready for school!" She said closing my hatch. I groaned then crawled out of bed and got dressed. I put my hair up into my pigtails, then grabbed my bag and headed down stairs.

Am I seeing things? What the fuck? What is he doing here? It's 7:30am! I thought as I stared at my boyfriend who was at the bottom of the stairs. "Hey Marinette, I just wanted to walk you to school today" he said with a smile.  I smiled back at him and slipped on my shoes. "Thank you Adrien, that's really sweet of you!" I said, grabbing a croissant and heading out the door with him. "Bye Ma, bye Pa, I'll see you later!" I said to my parents as they waved goodbye. I shut the door, then interlocked my hand with his. "Adrien you didn't have to" I mumbled looking up at the boy. "No, but I wanted to. You're my girlfriend, and I want to show it to everyone" he said with a smile. My heart skipped a beat. Girlfriend. I like that name. I thought, until I realized.. Chloe.

"Oh no" I mumbled. He turned to me and hummed a 'what?'. "What are we supposed to do about Chloe? She's gonna lose her shit!" I said. He looked at me and smiled softly. "It'll go okay, I promise." he said to me with a smile. I nodded and smiled back at him. A cool breeze of wind gushed by and I felt my arms get cold. Why are my arms cold? I'm wearing my jacket- "damnit" I mumbled in annoyance. He turned to me and hummed again. "I forgot my jacket." I groaned. "Here" we stopped and he pulled off the white jacket he was wearing and handed it to me. "Adrien, you really don't have to it's okay" I said trying to push the jacket back into his hands, but he wouldn't take it back. "It's okay, really I'm not that cold" I sighed in defeat and put it on, rolling the sleeves down.

I turned to him and smiled, then I grabbed his arm and wrapped it around my shoulder. He looked down at me and smiled softly, then kissed my forehead. We walked up to school, and oh great. Chloe saw us. "Adrikins! Why are you holding Dupain-Cheng!?" Chloe exclaimed angrily. He looked down at me and whispered "may I?" I nodded in reply. "Because she's my girlfriend, Chloe" he said. Chloe's jaw dropped. "She's your what?! Ridiculous! Utterly ridiculous!" She stomped off like a child. Adrien and I sat down at the steps of the school, waiting for Alya and Nino to arrive. Alya arrived and her jaw dropped when she say Adrien and I sitting and laughing, with me wearing his jacket. "Are you guys finally telling everyone? It's about time!" Alya asked. "Yeah, we decided it was a good time. We're also telling our parents later.  Well, I already told my parents last night and they were super supportive!" I said with a smile on my face.
