The Temperance Alliance

Starting first memory playback with: Diary entry of certain day

{July 14th}

Well, I got therapy at least... Mostly it's just myself staring out into the sky and thinking about life, with or without my son by my side. Basically, I took a time off for a few hours. I forgot paramedics don't issue psychiatry, and here I thought doctors know everything.

Everything's been going good in Fort Temperance, a shame about the Riffs though. I talked with their sensei, and he mentions his city is not really going good in terms of...everything except for population. I wonder if Simone considers it well enough.

With Zcom's strength, and the expandable population of the Riffs, we can—okay that was disturbing when I reread that, holy shit. Um, anyways, we would be an unstoppable husk killing machine. Together with the Union's... Um...magic? I guess, it would be indefinitely?

But who would rule Temperance in the long run? There can be only one leader, and if a senate were to be made, that's just gonna make things worse. But I suppose it depends on the future on who carries the big stick.

We got two new survivors last 4 days ago, I was too occupied with therapy to update my journal. Lily Badejo was apparently the little girl's name whom Mephisto gave the medkit to. Lily is getting really close to Sasha and Eno lately after she's been indoctrinated by Zcom. I'm just glad the boys finally got somebody their age to play with other than themselves, but I just hope it won't turn into a cliché drama about love triangles, but they're too young to know that.

You may want to know what I'm doing, huh? Well, I'm currently inside the scavenger's hut, where we put all of our salvaged items, and scavenged items for the fort. Yes, Camille is getting repaired as we speak, but you know the most greatest thing that has ever happen other than us bringing home a bunch of alcohol, porn magazines, and tank parts? Instruments from a music store. Of course, the pawn shop ONCE hold a bunch of instruments, and Zcom didn't really threw them out.

I had no idea some of our folks were talented as shit. Talulah has the same reaction as I have, currently sitting next to me while listening to our folk's serenades. All we have are jazz instruments however, but...boredom is the number one killer, and Gordon and Lyudmila are the vigilantes.

If I could detail how awesome this sounds, I would, but does anyone like jazz here? It ain't the same as Rockabilly, but damn is it catchy. There's also a few of our people trying out for their bands, this includes: Alex, Wu, Yelena, and Sifer. There's also my boy, who's trying his best on the clarinet, but Faust substituted. Kinda sad though...

Continuing playback with: Memory event recreation

[Just near the entrance of the scavenger's hut, Hosea, Talulah, and a bunch of Zcom specialists who were working in the scavenger's hut at the time, are watching their bored musicians go to town with their brass instruments, and a bunch of musical sheets they found.]

[The tone was upbeat, and jazzy, but it also holds a sad tone about despair and hopelessness, and basically live out the rest of your days partying. It'll depend when, but at least they're still bringing smiles in these trying times.]
