I took a deep breath before stepping into the restaurant. Jimin was already on the counter stacking up the bills.

"Hey, chim." I waved at him who returned giving his eye smile.

"Hey, so how's your new place and the guy?"

"All well and good. I will fill you guys up with the details later. I gotta see the guy in-charge.

"Ok, see that man over there with the blonde hair. Go talk to him. His name's Matthew." Jimin pointed at a man whose comparably smaller to Jimin in height but is bigger than him.

I went up to him. He introduced me to the staffs and then showed me around pointing out my duties for every day. At last he handed me a grey plain t-shirt with just a logo of the restaurant printed on the back. That will be my uniform. I haven't worn a uniform in a long time. And I have always disliked it. Thankfully it's not a pinafore and shirt like in schools.

But Jimin and I didn't really get much time to talk coz it was busy Saturday. Our shift were till 12pm. Right around 12:30, Hannah came to the restaurant. We all planned to do shopping together.

But first we went to a restaurant other than the one we are working for, for lunch. We ordered smoked beef rib roast along with some caesar salad and French fries. Like always food is the highlight.

"So, Ella tell me about this new guy." It was Hannah who spoke. I somehow needs to dodge it, before it gets suspicious.

"He's a good guy. He works near our campus."

"Really? Have we seen him before?" Jimin asked next.

"No. I don't think so." I felt bad for lying to them. But I promised Seokjin I won't tell.

"What's his name?" Han asked. Oh hun please don't ask anymore. I pleaded within.

"Se- Jake." I spoke abruptly, I nearly ruined it by saying Seokjin.

"Guys, we need to leave soon. I wanna buy so many stuffs." They didn't catch up on my desperate attempt to change the topic.

"Yeah, that's what I'm born to do honey." Han replied enthusiastically.

"I'm doomed." Jimin face palmed scrunching his nose.

-

"Tell me once more, Ella. Why do you need an  S. Your name starts with an E hun." Hannah reminded me for the nth time.

"Don't you think it's cute? I like it, I don't care if it's an S." I justified.

"Well it's your money. I was just telling." Hannah gave up trying to knock some sense into me.

The thing is while strolling through the aisle, I saw alphabet wall hangers. I like those things. And I wanted to buy one for the both of us, hence, E and S. It was written in the shape of an alphabet by joining small vines and flowers with led lights. It was so fricking beautiful. Upon seeing that my mind's been telling me Seokjin is also going to like it. So I thought I should give it a shot.

"Do we have everything?" Jimin asked with an uninterested look. But both Han and I knew he actually enjoyed it. Few minutes back he was the one who dragged me around the aisles to choose the fairy lights. He's been bugging me to buy the one with which he practically fell in 'love' with.

"I guess that's it guys. I think I have covered everything."

We went to the counter and I paid the bill. It was already night and we were struggling with the bags in our hand to reach the parked car of Jimin's.

We all got in, I slumped back in the back seat, while Jimin drived and Han took the shotgun.

"We will come over and help you tomorrow to get all this arranged." Han chirped excitedly.

"No bud. We made one condition to each other."

"Condition? With who? Jake?" Han frowned.

"Who's Jake? Aah yeah Jake." I forgot the stupid name. Idiot. I could have blown our cover without even making it past twenty four hours. They looked at me questioningly through the mirror.

"We agreed we won't bring over anyone else other than the two of us. It's to respect each other's privacy." I said trying my best to sound convincing as possible.

"What a shitty agreement is that? And you agreed?" Han croaked.

"Well I thought the same. But isn't this good. What if he brings a lot of horny ass men when I'm alone? This way it will be well and good."

Jimin looked at me like I was crazy. But Han nodded. "Yeah, if you think like that. This is better." Jimin frowned hearing Han.

"See, intellectuals will understand." I scoffed at a still frowning Jimin.

He pulled over near the house. Jin wasn't anywhere near the house. Good lord.

"Bye guys. Text me when y'all reach." I waved at them before they drove away.

I felt so bad about lying to them. But I assured myself telling it's all for the good. I should wait a little more then I can tell them. Luckily they didn't ask more about the guy. I'm relieved.
