Eliza's pov

"So you are not actually going to your combined study?" I ended the sentence more of a question than a statement.

"Yes." Emily replied. I was on a phone call with my sister. She was having a study session with her group mates at least that is what she told our parents.

"But you are actually going to hang out with Taehyung?" I repeated it again.

"Yes exactly." She chirped.

"Isn't this already the third time you both are meeting up this week?" I knew they were getting closer and closer each day. Well they already kinda went off the first day they met each other although there were some identity problems.

"Well you see Seokjin every day, soooo..." She dragged the last word, making it clear what she was implying.

"Because we live together. Anyways, tell me did Taehyung shake my sissy's heart?" I wiggled my brows in excitement although she couldn't see. If there is something between them, then I am taking the front row for their wedding party.

"Oh I think I am getting another call. I have to take it. Bye Ela, tell your future husband my regards." She quickly disconnected the call leaving me no time to give her a reply for what she said. I should not have told her about what almost happened between Seokjin and me.

I was in the kitchen and deciding on making something for the both of us. Seokjin doesn't really allow me in the kitchen after the day I nearly set the kitchen on fire trying to make a curry with meat. So I set my mind to make a comeback by making an Indian dish and blow his mind and earn my position back in the kitchen.

He went to meet with his friends and colleagues and won't be back for a while. My plan is to get it all ready and set it in the dining table by the time he comes back, which is nearly impossible taking in mind my skills and the limited time.

After a lot of thinking I settled on aloo paratha, an Indian bread dish and chicken tikka masala. Starting with the paratha I got my plates and other necessities ready. I need wheat flour which was on the top shelf totally out of my reach.

I leaned forward and lifted myself balancing on the counter to reach the shelf. Unfortunately this was not enough. Why does he have to be this tall? I complained about him keeping all the stuffs out of my hand's reach. I huffed, too lazy to take a chair so instead I climbed on the counter easily grabbing the flour and getting down.

I poured some of it on the bowl, clipped the cover tightly and threw it back in the shelf. Yes, throwed it back not needing to climb again after the use. I added salt, some oil and water in the bowl and started to stir it to make it into a texture enough to knead the dough. Finishing that, I began to make the filling with potatoes and spices.

My work was disrupted by the arrival of Seokjin who returned earlier than I thought. I grunted annoyed at the failure of my plan.

"Why are you early?" I asked him resting my hands on my hips careful not to ruin my dress with the dough.

"Why, you didn't want me here?" He asked with a teasing smug face. "And you are cooking?" He looked at me skeptically.

"Yes and I am doing it alone." I huffed getting back to business.

"Fine. At least tell me what you are going to do with the mashed potatoes and the dough?"

"I am going to mix all this mixture into the dough, mix it well, roll and flatten it, making aloo paratha. An Indian dish." I proudly said.

"Are you sure you are supposed to do that?" He frowned.

"Yes I have had it many times." I affirmed.

"You may have had it but have you made it before." I shook my head annoyed understanding his point.

"Exactly. I think you shouldn't mix it all together. You might have to make it into small balls and then fill it with the potatoes then flatten it." He said.

"No, what I told is the right way." I pouted.

"If you are so sure then you can proceed. Or you could check in the internet and make sure that is the right way?" He suggested. I thought about it for a moment. Now that I think about it my past cooking experiences never came out with a good result. Maybe I should check.

"Okay I will. But just for your sake." I said still not ready to give in. He chuckled and raised his hands defensively mumbling an okay.

We checked it and unfortunately I was wrong and what he said was the right way to make it.

"But it is okay. You did well." He encouraged me instead of mocking me. He placed both his hands on my cheeks and used his thumbs to softly stretch the corner of my lips to form a smile. His concerned and cheerful eyes eventually making me smile genuinely.

"I think we need more dough. This won't be enough for the both of us." He informed me once he checked the quantity.

"Okay I will add more." I told him and he started to browse through his mails while I continued with my work.

Oh shoot, I shouldn't have thrown back the flour bag in the shelf. I thought to myself. Only a corner tip of the cover was seen from my sight. And I reached up trying to grab it without climbing back on the counter to get it.

I felt a sudden grasp around my waist lifting me up making me squeal in surprise.

"What are you doing?" I asked Seokjin who looks clearly not bothered by what he was doing. But my heart beat was raising and started making me feel hot.

"Respecting your opinion by not helping you with the cooking. But you didn't tell anything about not doing this." He smirked.

I scoffed in annoyance and lifted my hand to grab the cover while placing the other on his shoulder to balance myself. He shook me surprisingly and made me lose my balance in the process. And also this resulted in the bag falling over our heads.

We started coughing due to the unexpected turn of events. He put me down and swatted his hands to stop the flour powder in the air clogging our sight. The sight before us was actually hilarious. Both of us covered in white powder, bewildered and shocked. We just stared at each other without exchanging any words and out of nowhere we started laughing. We couldn't stop ourselves from the endless laughs and giggles coming out from our mouth along with the powder.

He quickly fished out his phone and took a snap of the both of us. "We should totally frame it." He announced making the both of us laugh again and in the process dusting each other off.

Our fun were interrupted by an unexpected ring of the doorbell. "Oh it must be Jimin. He texted me before telling he would come."

Without waiting for another second we rushed to the door nudging and pushing each other to get to the door first like we were kids. With limitless giggles we pulled the door open only to stop in our tracks. The laughter long died down at the arrival of the unexpected guests on our doorstep. Seokjin was frowning seeing the strangers whereas I was too shocked and at the same time scared seeing the people before me.

"Mom? Dad?"
