Seokjin's pov

We were still in the kitchen making gimbap. It took longer than I thought it would. I was teaching her step by step and she wasn't making it any easier either. But I really enjoyed. I think I have never laughed this much in a while.

"Finally we did it." I reached my hand on the sky for a high five. Just when she raised hers I lifted mine more, making it impossible for her to reach. She pouted.

"You devil." She jumped for a few times. She gave up and crossed her arms making me finally give in for that cute pouty face of her's.

"Can we eat?" I asked not being able to wait anymore.

"Nope, plating is still pending." She said determinedly.

"Why, we are going to eat it anyways." No more waiting.

"Nope we need to make it look appetizing." She was stubborn.

"You remind me of my brother. The plating expert." She didn't reply she just went straight to the cupboards looking for the ideal one. I stood opposite to her leaning on the counter as she strained her neck to the top shelf.

I used that time to check my phone for any new notifications. I was called back hearing a frustrated sigh. She was standing on her toes trying to reach a plate that she finally found desirable for the food. Her pink sweater was slightly lifted from her hips making her thin waist visible. I accidentally caught my eyes on a tiny mole on the side of her waist making me stop in my tracks and sending a tingling sensation. I felt heat rising up to my cheeks before I quickly slapped myself out of it.

"Move I will take it out." I gulped nudging her away from the shelf as I took out the plate she wanted. I felt guilty for developing such a thought towards her.

"How is it?" She asked happily as she bit onto the gimbap. We were sitting on the kitchen counter with filled plates.

"It's me who needs to ask you. I will love it anyways. Did you like it?" I asked her. I wanted to know if she like my homelands food.

"I love it. I'm going to make it more often now. It's not too spicy either." She replied smiling like a little kid.

"I'm happy you liked it. We can do it again."

After food and cleaning up I stood to get freshened up and wear some comfy clothes. I still haven't changed from what I wore in the morning. She was watching TV and I left her there.

I took a quick shower and changed to a white t-shirt and grey shorts. By the time I reached my room from the bathroom, I noticed my room was extremely dark other than a light yellow glow. I opened the door and saw lighted candles and a cake set on the middle of my bed. I saw Eliza in the dim lit room beside the door I was standing, smiling warmly as she whispered a happy birthday to me. My eyes threatening to spill the tears I quickly blinked it away. I was really overwhelmed and my chest felt heavy with happiness. I quickly gave her an awkward side hug as she was still on the other side of the door. She signalled me to cut the cake which I happily did.

She was laughing at my flustered state, telling me I look like a tomato with red cheeks and ears. We sat on my bed crossing our legs as we dug into the cake.

"This is so tasty." She moaned taking a huge bite of the cake.

"Couldn't agree more." It really was so tasty. "How did you know it was my birthday?" I have never told her. I was so curious.

"I have my ways bud." She winked with a dimpled smile. There goes my heart again beating like crazy.

"Thank you so much, Liz. You made me the happiest today."

"Liz?" She squinted her eyes with a smile tugging on the corner of her lips. I didn't even realise I called her Liz, it accidentally slipped out of my mouth.

"What do you think?" I tensed if she will dislike it seeing her frowned face.

"I like it very much. In fact I prefer this over Ella." Her face quickly changed smiling widely her dimples full on display making her look 100x cuter.

We almost finished half of the cake and struggled controlling ourselves from finishing it off. Reluctantly we headed downstairs to keep the rest in the refrigerator.

That's when something else caught my eye. A white Polaroid camera tied with a perfect blue bow on the top. I looked at her. She nodded her head showing it was for me. I actually needed one though.

"You are full of surprises, Liz. Thank you so much." She smiled feeling glad that I liked her gifts.

"I really needed one, you know. Mine broke." I told her. I had one and it recently broke slipping out of my hands.

"I know. I saw it on your table last day." I smiled proudly seeing how she noticed every simple details.

"I really didn't expect this day to turn out this fantastic. I think this is the best day I have had once I set foot on this country." I let her know how I really felt.

"How about we take one photo of ours? The first pic, us." I asked her to which she nodded happily.

I placed my hand over her shoulder feeling a little shy, while she snaked her's in my waist barely clutching it. We both smiled fully at the camera with our pink tinted cheeks.

I looked at the photo frame we had on the wall between the alphabet frame E and S.

"I think it's time to take down the cats and trees to rest." She raised her brows not understanding what I meant. I placed my index finger under her chin and tilted it to the wall to show her the cat and nature photos hung over there. She looked at me with a satisfied smile as she nodded a yes with her thumbs up.
