You're sitting down in the park staring blankly out at the nature in front of you. It's been over a month since your last seen or hear from Megumi or Mr. Satoru. It turns out he resigned the day after the incident with Megumi.
You tried going to his house several times, but nobody ever answered. You feel your heart drop as you think about the last time you saw Megumi. Your parents rushed into your room and found you crying your eyes out in front of a bloodstain.
For all you know he could be dead, or maybe it's was Mr. Satoru that he was running from? You can't get your mind off of Megumi no matter how much you try. Your social life and grades have suffered as a result.
"Watch out!" You hear a loud voice call as you look behind you to see a soccer ball inches away from hitting you. You quickly dodge out of the way as a pink-haired guy comes running towards you.

"Sorry about that, Kugisaki wasn't looking where she was kicking," the boy says as a brownish orange-haired girl yells in the distance.
"If you can't handle my kicks that's on you Itadori!" You hear her scream as you retrieve the ball before handing it to the boy. Something about him makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on edge.
"It's fine, thanks for the heads up," you say as the pink-haired boy smiles sweetly at you. He seems to have an infectiously positive personality, but something about him feels off.
Though your mind is more so caught by the strange uniform he and the girl wears. You've never seen a uniform in the area like it, let alone these two personalities.
"I'm Itadori Yuji, down there's my friend Kugisaki Nobara. Wanna play with us a bit while we wait for our classmate?" Itadori asks as you smile politely at him.
"No, it's alright..."
"Aww c'mon, I have a feeling we could be good friends," Itadori says as you stare at his bright smile. It has been a while since you've done anything fun. Maybe it'd be nice to take your mind off of Megumi for a while.
"Sure, why not. I'm Y/N by the way," you say as the boy quickly pulls you along to join his friend. However, Kugisaki looks less thrilled to have you around. She pulls Itadori aside as you stand there silently fiddling with the soccer ball.
"Itadori we can't just get regular people mixed up in our assignments,"
"Huh? But we're just playing around for now. What's the harm in making new friends?"
The two begin to argue behind you as you look around the park before your eyes spot someone wearing a similar uniform to the other two. Your eyes widen as you quickly recognize the boy.
"Well, why don't we just wait and ask..."
"Megumi?" You say in shock as Megumi looks up from his phone and meets your eyes. He stops walking and just stares at you as tears threaten to fall down your cheeks.
