"Megumiii," You hear a group of people scream Megumi's name as you turn around and find Itadori, Kugisaki, Megumi and your old teacher Gojo standing behind you. They had called you out to the mall to hang out since they had some free time.

You turn around and can't hold back a laugh as you see the dead look on Megumi's face. Itadori and Kugisaki cling to Megumi while yelling dramatically. You don't know what exactly they're up to, but if it's annoying Megumi you don't mind at all.

"Megumi, were you just playing with my emotions last night? Is it true that you don't love me?" Kugisaki asks as you raise a confused eyebrow at them. Meanwhile, Megumi continues to stare emotionlessly at you.

"Of course he was lying! It's me you love, right Megumi?" Itadori says as Gojo suddenly speaks up.

"Now now you two, please. I'd like to spend some time with my star student," Gojo says as you choke on your spit. Megumi quickly rushes over to you and pats you on your back as you burst out laughing.

"Wow Megumi, I never knew you were in such high demand. I gotta say I'm kinda jealous," you manage to get out as Megumi groans.

"C'mon Y/N, not you too," Megumi says as you glance over at the others who smile at you and Megumi who are now standing close to each other. You subconsciously take a step back as the others sigh.

"So, what are we gonna be doing today?" You ask as Itadori and Kugisaki exchange a glance.

"Oh we're actually busy with an assignment," they say in unison as Megumi frowns.

"Assignment? Gojo didn't give us a..."

"Oh right Megumi, sorry I need these two for a really important mission. You can just stay here with Y/N, hehehe," Gojo says as the three of them go skipping away leaving you and Megumi watching them confused.

"Those idiots, I'll kill them later," Megumi says under his breath as you smile.

"Well, it's been a while since we've been at the mall together. Do you want to go watch a movie?" You ask as Megumi looks down at you before nodding.

"Oh, sure," he says as you start walking in the direction of the theatre. However, Megumi remains in place probably looking to see where the others are hiding. You chuckle and walk up to Megumi before getting on your tippy-toes and whispering in his ear.

"I know they're there too, why don't we still try to have fun huh?" You say as Megumi jumps and looks down at you. His cheeks redden a bit as you smirk and grab his hand. You're almost certain you can hear the cheering somewhere in the distance.

"Wait Y/N, you don't have to act for those idiots..." Megumi says as you roll your eyes and turn around to flick Megumi on the forehead.

"Jeez, how dense are you? I'm not acting you idiot, I missed you so I want to spend time with you. Is that so weird?" You ask as Megumi's eyes widen.

"You missed me?" Megumi asks as you roll your eyes and continue to tug him along as you reach the movie theatre. Halfway through the movie, you glance over at Megumi to see that he's drifting off.

"Some action movie," you say laughing as you find yourself watching Megumi sleep. You're once again reminded of how jealous you are of his eyelashes. You also never realized how pretty he is while he's sleeping.

You almost have a heart attack as Megumi's eyes suddenly open making you quickly look away. However, your certain you were already caught staring.

"Hmm? Ah sorry Y/N, classes have been pretty intense lately," Megumi says as you shake your head.

"Oh, it's OK. You can sleep, as long as you promise to buy me something sweet once the movie is done," you say as Megumi smiles and closes his eyes again. He leans over and rests his head on your shoulder as your body tenses.

"Deal," Megumi whispers as a shiver runs down your spine. You glance in the corner of the theatre and are unsurprised to find Itadori, Kugisaki, and Gojo sitting together watching the movie. You smile to yourself as you turn to the screen as well.

You're glad that Megumi has found such good friends. However, in the back of your mind, you can't help but wonder what he's gotten caught up in that's made him so secretive. Not that Megumi was very forthcoming with information, to begin with.

A while later

"Don't you ever get tired of eating sweet things?" Megumi asks you as he watches you happily eat your piece of strawberry cheesecake. You shake your head and dig the fork into the final piece before offering it to Megumi. He raises an eyebrow at you as you continue to hover the fork in his face.

"You know I don't like sweet stuff that much," Megumi says as you tilt your head to the side.

"I'm giving you the last piece, you should feel special. It's not that sweet. Promise," you say as Megumi still hesitates.

"You used that fork already though..."

"What are we five again? So what?" You say as Megumi sighs before leaning forward and eating the cake. You put the fork in your mouth right after to clean off the fork. Megumi's face turns a bright red as you do so.

"Woah! They basically just kissed right? Nice Megumi!" You hear Itadori's voice yell behind you as Megumi glares behind you.

"I'm gonna kill them," Megumi says for the umpteenth time tonight as you laugh.

"Well? Isn't it good?" You ask ignoring the outburst as Megumi looks away from your eyes.

"Yeah, you were right. It wasn't too sweet," Megumi admits as you smile brightly. Megumi's looked flustered almost the entire day, for the most part, you were being playful. However, somewhere along the way, you started flirting.

"Hey Y/N, today was nice. Minus the idiots in the background, I had fun with you," Megumi says rubbing his neck awkwardly as you nod.

"I had fun too Megumi. Though I'm grateful for your new friends too. They seem to care about you a lot, you smile easier," you say as Megumi shrugs.

"I guess they're alright...sometimes," Megumi says as you stand up and get ready to leave.

"Well it's getting dark, I should get home," you say as Megumi nods.

"I'll walk you home,"
