"SENSEI?!" you, Itadori, and Kugisaki yell as you arrive at the amusement park to see Gojo munching happily on some cotton candy. He jumps a bit before looking up from his spot on a bench.

"Oh? What are you guys doing here?" Gojo responds casually as if he hadn't disappeared for two weeks on an unspecified mission.

"We should be asking you that! What happened to your mission?" Itadori asks as Gojo places a finger to his chin as if deep in thought before snapping suddenly.

"Ah right! I finished early and decided to take a little vacation. Not that I was avoiding you guys or anything haha." Gojo announces casually as Megumi hits him over the head for everyone's sake.

"Idiot. A lot has happened in your absence, the others were getting worried about you. What kind of adult are you?" Megumi asks Gojo who's face lights up as he tugs happily on Megumi's arm.

"You missed me Megumi?! Really? Really?" Gojo asks in a cutesy high-pitched voice as Megumi promptly tries to push him off. Despite being annoyed with him as usual, you and the others just start to laugh at his antics.

"Soooo that's the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer Gojo Satorou?" Choso asks as you nod and watch the father-son duo bicker. You almost forgot that he was new to the group considering how much he was chatting with Itadori and Kugisaki on the way here.

"Yup. Wait, haven't you gotten to meet Gojo already?" You ask looking up at Choso who was closer to your face than you thought. You awkwardly jerk backwards as Choso laughs at the fact that you almost kissed him on accident. Is he doing all of this on purpose?

"No, he was already away by the time I was selected to do a semester at Jujutsu Tech. This is an interesting first impression. I never expected someone so...eccentric."

"Hey, your first impression wasn't too great either. Gojo may be an idiot but at least he doesn't start petty fights with other people's significant others." You say casually addressing the tension from earlier. However, Choso just shrugs smugly.

"Touche."

"...no, I said the others were worried about you. I frankly don't care about what you do in your free time, but take your job seriously," Megumi says bluntly as Gojo's mood immediately drops. Even after two years of studying under him, Gojo hasn't changed a bit. You can't tell if that's a good or a bad thing.

"You're always so mean to me Megumi. Ah, I heard from Nanami that you got an unwanted visit from your dad. I was a bit concerned but all of my students have gotten a lot stronger huh?" Gojo says as you, Megumi, Itadori, and Kugisaki frown.

"Of course we have. It would've been a waste to stay at the same level after almost three full years. Though...it wasn't enough." Kugisaki says as Itadori nods with an annoyed look in his eyes. It wasn't until now that you realized that the four of you never sat down to talk about what happened together.

You had reported the incident to Nanami and he took it to the higher-ups, but then you just checked in with Megumi instead of the Itadori and Kugisaki too. The past two days you've all been distracting yourselves from acknowledging your weakness.

"Yeah, the four of us had to work together to take him on. Even then it still felt like we were majorly weaker than him despite him not having any cursed energy." Itadori says surprisingly seriously. A chill runs down your spine at the memory of Toji's insanely potent bloodlust.

"I've been trying not to think about it too much, but there's no telling what could've happened if that curse didn't intervene," Kugisaki adds as the mood darkens further. Though you quickly realize that the conversation has made Megumi especially quiet.
