Two years Later

You gasp sharply as Itadori suddenly appears in front of you before dealing a blow to your side. You clench your teeth as you're pushed back a few feet. You notice Megumi glance at you out of the corner of your eye but you shake your head. He nods as Kugisaki's nails suddenly go flying past him.

You hold your head up high before closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. You listen vigilantly as Itadori runs at you. Not yet, you say to yourself internally as you tighten the grip on your wooden nunchucks. You feel a sudden surge of cursed energy before smirking.

You open your eyes widely before swinging the nunchuck at the side of Itadori's face. A spark of blue energy can be seen as Itadori goes flying in the direction you hit him in. It doesn't take long for Itadori to recover but immediately you're there.

"Woah Y/N, you've gotten better!" Itadori says as he blocks your attacks. You jump up suddenly and wrap your legs around Itadori's neck and locking on as you pull him to the ground. You swiftly turn around to deliver a punch to his face, but he moves his head out of the way.

Your eyes widen as you notice a sizable dent form where you had just punched the ground. You've never been able to make such an impact before.

"Scary! if you managed to hit me that would've hurt," Itadori says as he rolls away from you and gets back up to his feet.

You and the others had been training as usual, but this time you split into teams of two. You and Megumi VS Itadori and Kugisaki.

You'd grown strong enough to hold your own after training seemingly endlessly with Megumi and Itadori. Ever since panda, Toge, and Maki's graduation you hadn't gotten to spend much time training with Maki. Losing someone with a similar fighting style to your own did mess with you for a while.

You're still the weakest link, especially when considering that the only person you can fight against with hand-to-hand combat is Yuji. His raw power is nothing to scoff at. However, your strength has grown rapidly and Gojo has allowed you to practice with certain weapons way above your grade.

For now, your focus is on being able to handle cursed techniques. Battling with Megumi is especially difficult, especially when he gets cheeky and pulls you into his domain.

You're about to lunge towards Itadori but a sudden chill runs down your spine making your blood immediately go cold. Your feet don't move despite you internally yelling for them too. It doesn't feel like cursed energy...but it makes you uneasy.

"Yuji...do you feel that?" You ask just as Itadori suddenly grabs you and takes off. You look in the forest and gasp as you notice a tall figure lurking in the darkness. Your vision blurs slightly as Itadori picks up the pace until the two of you are back on the field.

"Something's wrong," Itadori mutters as he stops and places you down as Kugisaki and Megumi stop fighting. The two rush over to you but you and Itadori continue to stare off at the forest.

"What's going on?" You hear Nobara ask as you point towards the forest. You hadn't realized it but your body had begun to shake uncontrollably.

"Wait...what is that?" Nobara asks in a shaky voice as Megumi drops down to your side and holds you by your shoulders. You can tell by the uneasiness in his eyes that he feels that person's aura too.

"Y/N, what happened?"

"Someone's there, there's a person in the forest. I couldn't see him at first, but his blood lust feels worse than any cursed energy I've sensed," you say as you hear a low chuckle behind you.
