The next day

"Hey Y/N, you don't look like you slept well." you hear Megumi say lowly as you jerk your head off of your desk. After getting in so late you wanted to go straight to sleep, but Kugisaki wouldn't let you go without questioning you about what you let slip. You're fairly certain that she won't keep true to her promise to keep it a secret either.

"Oh, morning babe. Sorry, I didn't come to see you when I got in. I was exhausted and my phone had died." You say as Megumi smiles understandingly as he sits down in the seat next to yours.

"That's fine, I was a bit concerned but I texted Kugisaki since I figured as much. Did anything weird happen yesterday?" Megumi asks as you shake your head.

"No, everything went smoothly with the curse, it was walking around with Kugisaki that really kicked my ass. I would've let you know right away if something felt off. Though I did kinda screw up on one thing..." You say before trailing off as Megumi raises an eyebrow at you.

"And what would that be?" Megumi asks as the classroom door abruptly slams open revealing Itadori and Kugisaki. The expression on Itadori's face is enough for you to infer what's about to happen.

"YOU TWO ARE GETTING MARRIED?!" Itadori screams as Kugisaki promptly hits him over the head. You facepalm as you hear Megumi let out a low sigh. It hasn't even been a full 24 hours and you already have to deal with this again.

"I told you to act normal you idiot! It was supposed to be a secret!" She yells at him as Megumi glances at you side-eyed. You quickly pretend to be interested in something outside as Megumi sighs again.

"Only a few more months till graduation. Just a few more months." You hear Megumi mutter to himself as Itadori runs over to Megumi's desk.

"That's a big step man! Why wouldn't you tell me?! Besides I thought that you were super against jujutsu sorcerers getting married. Technically you also used to be against dating..." Itadori says bluntly as Megumi tenses. You look over at him as he stares down at his empty desk.

"Things change. I have someone that I'm always going to look out for and protect now. What's the issue in wanting to make sure that she's just mine?" You hear Megumi mutter lowly under his breath as his eyes meet yours.

His cheeks are slightly reddened now and he rubs the back of his neck as he usually does when he's embarrassed. You feel your heartbeat speed up at Megumi's comment as a sad smile lifts your lips. Is that why he fought so hard to push you away back then?

"Awww I'll never get tired of seeing Megumi get all flustered. So cute!" Kugisaki exclaims as Megumi rolls his eyes.

"Shut up, I'll kill you. The two of you weren't even supposed to know about this, nothing is really set in stone yet..." Megumi says as he glares at you.

"But I'll deal with the one that slipped up later," Megumi says menacingly as you gulp. The four of you are interrupted but the sound of the door sliding open. A tall pale-skinned man walks through the door while holding an armful of books.

"Huh? Who are you? A new teacher or something? Where's Gojo sensei?" Itadori asks as the black-haired man places his books down on the front desk before addressing Yuji who stares at him while in a cautious fighting stance. You get a better look at the man before jumping out of your seat in shock.

"Pigtails?! What are you doing here?!" You exclaim as Choso's dark eyes meet yours and quickly brighten up. He's dressed in a suit similar to the one he was wearing last night, though his hairstyle is still messy as usual.

"Y/N?! You're a Jujutsu Tech student?" Choso asks stupidly as the other three glances from you to Choso and back with confused expressions. However, you're too engulfed in your shock to see the extra shaken expression on Megumi's face.
