You're about to relay your plan to Kugisaki and Itadori but you feel someone grab your hand making you pause. You meet Kugisaki's eyes and see a soft pleading in them.

"Hey Fushiguro didn't want us to fight, he just wanted to get you and get out of here. Let us handle this, you go find him." Kugisaki says as you frown a bit. Of course, Megumi would say something like that. He's so concerned with seeing you safe that he must've forgotten that you're a jujutsu sorcerer just like he is. There's no way you're letting a special grade like Mahito go and wreak havoc somewhere else.

"I've been gone for three days and you guy's have already forgotten how I work. There's no way I'm just gonna sit back and let you guys fight for me. We'll kill him together, but I'd like to land the finishing blow if you wouldn't mind," You say as you jump out of the way of Mahito's attack on instinct. The three of you end up on different ends of the room as Mahito once again transforms his body into sword-like weapons.

"I told you Y/N would be too stubborn to just retreat without fighting. Let's finish this special grade and get out of here!" You hear Itadori yell from where he jumped making you smirk as Kugisaki sighs.

"I had to try. Do you have a plan at least?" Kugisaki yells as she lets another nail fly in Mahito's direction. This time he dodges it but as soon as he jumps out of the way Itadori is there to land a divergent fist on him. You smirk as Mahito stumbles towards you giving you easy access to his side that you waste no time slashing with your cursed blade.

"He likes to play with souls, so we'll destroy his. Got it?!" You yell as the other two nod as Mahito spits up blood. You don't give him a chance to catch his breath before continuing to attack him with your blade. He manages to block well enough and you can tell a part of him feels good about that fact.

"So annoying. Do you seriously think you can beat me like this?!" Mahito screeches at you as he suddenly disappears. You're confused for a split second before noticing a small childlike body running away. For someone who talks so much shit, he sure has no problem running away. You hold back a laugh as the small Mahito makes a break for the door only to be blown back into the room by Kugisaki's hairpin technique.

Mahito's body morphs once again though this time it mimics the shape of a snake. He tries to slither his way out of the door but Itadori is there to land another damaging blow on his small slender form. You hear Mahito let out a sharp gasp as Itadori kicks his body towards the center of the room, he slowly shifts back into his adult human form as Kugisaki rains down a pile of curse-embedded nails at him. Mahito manages to loosely dodge the nails, but it's no use.

"This guy is annoying. Will you fight seriously already?" Itadori asks as Kugisaki flips her hair out of her eyes before snapping her fingers. A flash of blue explosions fills the room as the pins explode leaving the room full of dust and debris.

"I know right? Raising all this fuss just to get tossed around. Maybe we overestimated you," Kugisaki says in a taunting voice as the dust begins to settle. Mahito stands weakly in the center of the room while now covered in blood. This fact doesn't make you hesitate to rush up to him and land a punch on his jaw.

Mahito doesn't bother to block your attack as Itadori appears on his other side to mimic your punch. The two of you go back and forth beating the shit out of Mahito with your bare hands. Even though you have no cursed energy, it feels better to punch him personally as opposed to using a blade. You and Itadori are about to continue the punching bag contest, but a sudden flux of cursed energy makes you hesitate.

"Wait Yuji!" you yell as Mahito's head suddenly jerks backwards, a crazy expression fills his mix-matched eyes confirming what you already believed to be happening.
