"Good, now do it faster!" You hear Maki instruct you as your chest rises and falls heavily. You force a smile onto your face as you swing the wooden beam in front of you.
You had joined jujutsu tech a while after you had recovered. Though you can't use any cursed energy, they easily paired you up with Maki to learn how to use cursed weapons.

"Yeah, Y/N's improved quickly in only a few months. Her determination is kind of scary. She should at least be grade three now," Panda says as you duck away from Maki's attack and sidestep before landing a hit on her arm.
You quickly jump away from her and watch through blurred eyes and Maki smiles sinisterly at you. This is the first time you've managed to land a hit on Maki. However weak it was, it's still an improvement.
"Hmm, Y/N is it time I stopped going easy on you?" Maki asks in a terrifying voice as she rushes towards you before you could get your beam up to defend yourself. Maki's beam makes contact with your wrists as you're swiftly knocked to the grass below.
"Owe," you breathe out as Maki frowns and stands above you while gently poking her beam on your torso. You close your eyes and smile slightly as the spring breeze blows around you.
As chaotic as the students at this school are, you understand why Megumi loves it here so much. Every day is something new with this group.
"Your ribs still feel OK after all this? I'm still surprised you recovered so well," you hear Maki say as you nod.
"Yeah, they're fine. Though your poking isn't helping," you say as the poking suddenly stops. You slowly open your eyes and smile as you see Megumi now holding Maki's beam behind his shoulders.
"Please refrain from poking Y/N like a dead animal," Megumi says casually as Maki rolls her eyes.
"Please refrain from interfering with my student while we're training. Unless you want to fight me next lover boy?" Maki says as Megumi shrugs casually.
"Sure, that's what I came out here to do anyway," Megumi says as he gives Maki her beam back before crouching down to you.
"Morning Megumi," you say with a bright smile as Megumi smirks down at you. He reaches for your hand before helping you up to your feet in one swift motion.
"Morning, Maki wasn't too hard on you today was she?" Megumi asks as you shake your head.
"Nope, I even managed to land a hit on her today. Though she quickly repaid me for it," you say rubbing your wrists as Megumi grabs them gently. He silently observes them as you feel the eyes of the second years on the two of you.
You and Megumi had started dating officially a few days after you recovered. Though your not that openly affectionate, no matter what the two of you do the others find a way to tease you both.
