You and the others audibly gasp as you push open the doors of the cabin you had rented for Christmas. The interior is fully decked out with decorations, and while they're not all to your taste, the overall vibe is cozy and comfortable just as you were hoping.

"I get to call my room first!" Itadori yells as he drops his bags by the door and dashes up the stairs with Kugisaki close behind him.
"As if! I get the biggest room!" You hear her yell as you shake your head and drop your bags as well before walking over to the fireplace and getting the fire started. The cabin owner mentioned that there was a heater but you find the fireplace to be much more aesthetically pleasing.
"Hmm cool," you hear an unimpressed voice say as you glance away from the now crackling flames to see your boyfriend walking in with the rest of the baggage. Megumi closes the door behind him and puts the bags down before joining you in the living room area.
You turn your attention to the view of the snow-covered mountains outside and feel as Megumi's hands snake around your waist. You glance back at Megumi who has a calm expression on his face as he also admires the natural beauty.
"Is your head alright?" you ask as Megumi nods. It was a two-hour car ride to get up to the mountains and the entire way over the three of you were belting Christmas songs to Megumi's annoyance. You're certain that the three of you gave him a headache considering his constant groaning and moaning while he was driving and unable to cover his ears.
"Technically yes, but I don't think I'll be able to get Kugisaki and Itadori's version of 'All I want for Christmas is you' out of my head anytime soon. Your adlibs were slightly more tolerable," Megumi grumbles as you chuckle.
"Sorry, babe but you can't blame us for being excited. We haven't had the chance for a normal-ish Christmas ever since I started at Jujutsu High. Don't you remember last year we tried to go skating and that second grade showed up and ruined the mood?" you mention as Megumi shrugs.
"I mean I had fun exorcising that curse, especially while watching Itadori try to use divergent fist on ice and falling over himself while Sukuna complained. Though it was pretty mesmerizing watching you attack a curse while dancing around it on skates, that was until Kugisaki crashed into you," Megumi says while chuckling a bit to himself as you roll your eyes.
"I wish I could've seen you try to do better on ice but you didn't even bother skating with us in the first place because you wanted to keep watch," you say slightly annoyed with the memory as Megumi's eyes lock with yours.
"Well it's a good thing that I did, isn't it? If one of us wasn't on the solid ground something serious could've happened to you guys in the time it took Nue to fly over and distract the curse," Megumi says as you sigh softly and turn around to face Megumi directly. You wrap your arms around his neck while searching for the best way to explain yourself.
