.We didn't love each other no.
But that night i could have listened to her voice for hours, spent decades playing with her hair as she fell asleep against my chest.
Her eyes half open as in attempt to stay up, her voice so soft it was barely noticeable, yet my ears picked it up. Her face finally peaceful in the dim light of the room.
I smiled as she gave a half hearted chuckle, it felt as though we had been there for years, laughing at silly jokes.
Till 3am came, the sun rising as the realisation set in.
We didn't love eachother, not really..
