Something that's sad to me is losing a crush on someone.
You see them so beautifully, their flaws and all, magnified in the most magnificent way.
Then it's gone.
That light that made them so magnetic disappears and all of a sudden they're dull, bland, they don't excite you anymore.
It's sad because someone you found comfort and beauty in is now more dull than the average person.
