"Are you sure?" I repeat, playing with the ends of my hair.
July sighs beside me, finally parking the car. "For the love of God! I am positive!" She yells.
I flinch. I have been asking her if she is sure about my outfit and makeup for the past ten minutes. The stitches are so prominent it's painful just to look at them. The bruising I have was terribly difficult to cover up with makeup so now it looks as if I am part of a gang. My bandages draw enough attention as it is. Along with the jersey I'm currently wearing.
"Let's just go, Luna." She teases and I feel a faint blush grace my cheeks.
We both get out of the car, July and Jake immediately by my side. "Holy shit." I mutter under my breath. I didn't even know Jake was coming.
"Is there a problem, Luna?" Jake asks me in worry, holding my arm as I limp across the parking lot.
"I'm fine." I lie and wave them both off. "I can walk. Don't worry about it."
They both share a look.
"No offense, Journey, but Alpha Gabriel kinda has us scared shitless to even let you stray five feet away." July explains sheepishly.
"I'm not some broken-" I pause at the look on both of their faces. "What?" I ask, slightly exasperated.
They both give me pointed looks. I sigh in defeat before allowing them to 'escort' me to my seat. A lot, and I mean a lot, of people are here. And a lot of them are currently staring at me. I keep my eyes glued on the ground, as if there is some fascinating creature crawling upon it.
Eventually, July tells me that when Gabriel has his number called, I have to stand up and cheer. Like I wouldn't have done that anyway. July seems to be the only girl here that isn't looking at me like I have a llama neck or like o just shot their three-legged dog.
At one point, Jake let's out a low growl when some idiot compliments my ass. Which causes me to get even more flustered. Which causes July to laugh her ass off.
"It's starting!" July squeals in my ear when loud music starts to play. Supposedly, this is the game that determines whether or not they get to go to the championship.
"Starting off with number six, it's Josh Phillips!" A male announcer with a jolly voice rumbles.
July stands up and starts clapping like a mad woman. Along with most of the other girls. Josh sends a kiss to July before running over to a bench where a sweaty man sat.
The announcer continues on with the names, Gabriel not being one of them. Until finally, "And last, but not least, Quarterback of the Wolves," I almost laugh at our mascot. "GABRIEL GELD!"
The crowd erupts in cheers and I stand like I'm suppose to, cupping my hands up my mouth in attempt to make myself sound louder. Unlike Josh, Gabriel doesn't run straight for the bench. He, somehow, locks eyes with me and jogs over, jumping up and grabs hold of the metal bar that prevents anyone from falling before pushing himself up a bit, making him inches from my face. Before I know what's happenings, he gifts me with a light kiss on the lips and forehead.
"Bye, baby," is all he says before winking and running back on the field.
I feel my cheeks heat up as the crowd cheers even louder.

The game ended with Gabriel scoring the touchdown with two seconds left on the clock. Let's just say I overreacted a little.
"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?" July asks and I look away.
"Yeah, totally." I lie. "It's been a long night, anyway. I'm just gonna hit the sack,"
"I don't know, Luna," Jake speaks up, worry evident in his eyes.
"What?" I ask, hoping that they'll let me leave.
"You are still healing. Very, very slowly. Maybe we should drive you home. Plus, you don't have a car," he points out and I sigh.
"Jake, seriously, I'll be fine. I don't need you guys to drive me home. I can handle myself. And don't even think about following me."
"Follow you where?" A new voice enters the conversation, causing me to gasp.
"Gabriel," I whisper his name as I turn to face his chest. "Hi," I greet, stepping back so I can properly see him.
"Follow you where?" He asks again.
"Follow me...home," I mumble.
"Home?"
"Yes, home," I confirm. "I have to go back home. Dad is-- I mean, I have to go get some stuff and--"
"GABRIEL!"
I wince at the volume of the female voice. The female voice. I turn to see a brunette skipping over to us, giving me a dirty look. I glance at July and Jake to see them both shaking their heads. This girl isn't Vanessa.
"Gabriel, I've missed you so much! Why don't you ever call me anymore? You used to always call me to come hit you up, but now you don't anymore. I don't care that you've been with half the school! I love you! I need you back. Can't we just meet up later and have so more fun? I know you've missed it! Come on, Gabe! I know you like when I scream-"
"Catherine. Please shut your whore mouth." July pleads.
"What? It's true! You can ask Gabriel himself! We've been through a few rounds! I'm not his one and done like usual. He called for seconds a few months ago! I like being his meal as long as he-"
"Shut up."
Jake, July, and Gabriel all give me looks of surprise. The girl, Catherine, slowly turns to look at me. "What?" She asks slowly, popping her hip out.
"I said shut up." I repeat, my tone getting harsh. What the fuck am I doing? "No one cares that you slept with Gabriel. No one that matters, at least. No one cares that you're just a booty call to him. No one cares. I've gotten a headache just from the three seconds I've heard you speak. Scratch that, I'm pretty sure the scream you did a while ago murdered my eardrums. And if you scream Gabriel's name," I say, sending him a look of mock pity and shiver, "then I feel bad for him because he's probably deaf now." I shrug. "Oh well, I suppose it's not my problem. Just try not to hurt others while you are on the prowl for a good lay. Bye," I say before turning on my heel and limping away. I whip around, looking Gabriel straight in the eyes.
"Oh, and Alpha?" I call at him formally. "Leave me the hell alone."
A/N: *slowly comes up from behind a couch* Hi? Um, I'm sorry for my reaction to the lack of followers and comments. When you all broke the 1K mark I sort of realized how immature and selfish I was being. Though I am still upset over the absence of comments, I wrote another chapter. Not a very good chapter, but a chapter nonetheless. I truly hope that you all keep commenting and keep giving me strength because I am going through a rather difficult time right now I sort of need the support. Thank you all so much. Bye for now.

The Scarred Luna (On Hold)
Werewolf" I know, " he whispers, taking a step towards me. "What?" I ask angrily. "I know." He repeats, his voice cracking. Gabriel looked as if he was on the verge of tears. He shoves my sleeve up; revealing my scarred arm. "And I'm sorry that I wasn't the...
