After I officially moved into the pack house with Gabriel a few days after, I start to feel different. My mind isn't working properly. I keep having little spurts of dizziness and sickness. Gabriel hasn't stopped worrying since, either.

"Luna?"

I open my eyes to see a girl who looks a bit younger than I. I am currently in the pack kitchen trying to rid my headache.

"Yes?" I ask, giving a weak smile towards the girl.

"Are you alright?" She asks, placing a hesitant hand on my shoulder.

"Yes-" I gasp when her cold hand accidently brushes against my bare skin.

A small girl was smiling down at her shoes. She had ashy blonde hair and pretty blue eyes.

"Jenna?" A light feminine voice called.

The little girl looked up at a beautiful woman with blonde hair that matched the girl's perfectly.

"Mommy!" The girl squealed in delight as she jumped on her mother.

The woman twirled the girl around in the air happily as the girl giggled. "You're getting big!" The woman exclaimed with a smile.

I draw in a shaggy breath and place my head in my hands. My head doesn't stop the throbbing, so I place it on the cool table and sigh.

"Luna, are you alright?" Jenna asks, worry lacing her tone.

"I'm fine, Jenna," I mumble out and hear her gasp.

"You actually saw that?" She asks, her voice hushed.

I nod against the table and will away the pain ebbing it's way through my whole body. "I did."

"Should I get Alpha Gabriel?" She asks.

"No, it's fine. How old are you Jenna?" I ask, trying to change the subject.

"Fourteen, Luna."

I smile at her youth. I know I'm young, but there is a definite difference between a senior and a freshman.

"Oh, that's nice," I say awkwardly. "You go to Bane High?"

She nods and smiles. Before more awkwardness can spread, a knock on the wall sounds and I look to see Gabriel staring at me worryingly.

"Can we talk?" He asks, sending a cold look to his younger member. "Alone."

I can practically hear Jenna 'gulp' and I glare at Gabriel as she quickly exits.

"Why must you do that?" I ask, tiredly as I place my head back down on the cooling counter.

Gabriel sits beside me and gazes at me innocently. "Do what?" He asks.

I close my eyes at his question. "Scare your pack members."

He shakes his head, rolling his eyes. "That's a discussion for another time. What are you hiding from me?"

I open my eyes wide and stare at him. "What?" I ask, my voice barely above whisper.

"I know you're hiding something from me. You've been acting weird all week. What's wrong?" He asks, placing a gentle hand on my head. His eyes widen slightly.

"I'm fine, Gabriel," I mumble, closing my eyes again.

"You have a fever, Journey," he insists and I attempt to block out the memories of his that are slowly seeping in.
