"We'll go back to the pack house after school and fix you up, 'kay?" July asks.

I freeze. "What?"

She rolls her eyes. "Oh come on, Luna," She says pointedly and I blush. "Tonight's the night. The game. You're wearing Alpha's jersey, right? We're gonna make you look hot,"

"Uh-uh, I, um" I stutter and rub the back of my neck. Gabriel has been taking it slow for the past two weeks. He doesn't push me or rush me. He just talks to me. "What?" I repeat.

"We're. Gonna. Make. You. Look. Hot." July says slowly.

"But- I...how?"

"Please, you have all the goods. You just don't know how to advertise 'em."

I blush at her words and pull down my sweater some more.

"Hey, rogue." I hear a voice sneer.

I immediately go rigid. Jason appears from beside me and walks in my way, putting his hands in his pocket.

"Beat it, pup," he growls at July and I see her freeze at his words.

"Jason," I mutter his name and I see him look at me in surprise. "Let's stop this, okay?" I ask. Did he not get it through his thick skull? I'm Gabe's. You would think after getting the living lights beat out of him he would understand.

Jason breaks out in a cackle before leaning in, breathing in my scent. "I rather not," he whispers and nuzzles my neck with his head.

I take a quick intake of breath before stepping back from him. "Jason," I repeat his name, stronger this time. I see multiple people turn to look at me.

"You'll be screaming that same name tonight," he smirks and I feel my wolf flinch.

Before I know what I'm doing, I bring my hand up and slap him across the face. The sound from the slap echoes around us. Jason eyes widen and so do mine. I try to harden my stance, but it doesn't faze him, for he takes me by the neck and slams me against the lockers.

I don't flinch. I keep my eyes connected with his without submitting. I see his eyes darken and his grip tightens at my defiance. He leans in and blows on my neck. I hold back a gag.

Where is Gabriel?

"Gabey boy isn't here now, is he?" Jason sneers, as if reading my mind.

"Get off me, Jason," I growl, noticing how almost every wolf in the hallway turns to look at me. Jason's grip loosens a bit and that's all I need.

All in one motion, I knee him where the sun don't shine and push him away from me. He lets me go and his hands cup his crotch in misery.

"You...bitch!" He breathes.

He takes a swing at me and I side-step, thankful for when I used to train with my father's pack. He tries a roundhouse kick and I quickly dodge it. He runs at me and takes another swing. I can't dodge this one. I stagger when his fist connects with my jaw. He takes advantage of my vulnerability and takes another swing. This time, it's a jab to my stomach. I double over and attempt to dodge his kick, but his foot connects with my temple before I know what's happening. I feel a small drop of blood trickle down from my lip.

I take a swing at him and, somehow, connect with his ribs. I hear a crack sound and smile slightly as the sound echos down the hall. Jason takes me by surprise, throwing me against the lockers once again. Except, this time, he pulls me by the collar into a wall, crushing my skull in the process. A few pebbles of debris fall onto my shoulders and I shake them off.
