The day went by painfully slow. After our little thing, Gabriel sat father away from me and sat with an emotionless mask on the whole day. I kept replaying what happened over and over again. Finally, I got fed up and started trying to pay attention in class. As I did this, though, Gabriel would cough or do something to pull me back to our moment in the closet.
Finally, the bell rings; signaling the end of the class and, thankfully, the day. I slowly pack up my things and head to my locker. Everyone was staring at me with a sort of weird look on their face. Like they knew something I didn't. I shrug it off and turn my back on everyone as I get to my locker. I keep my eyes focused on my lock, not really looking at anything else. I hear the click that tells me I put my combination in correctly. I sigh, I'm not really good with combination locks so it was a miracle I got it right the first time and not the tenth.
I start to open my locker and a drop of water drips to the floor in front of me. The fuck? Curious, I open my locker the rest of the way. A deluge of water comes out and soaks me head to toe. You know what? Fuck my curiosity. I drop my books and stare at the note that was in a Ziploc baggie.
You're gonna pay for my nose, Rogue.
The Ziploc Baggie was taped to the inside of my locker and the note inside was probably the only thing that wasn't waterlogged.
"Son of a fucking...mother fuckin'....bitch licking....cunt sucking...slut bastard." I let the profanities roll of my tongue. The lucky bastard should be glad that my phone wasn't in there. I wasn't fucking scared. Oh no, I was pissed.
"That looks like it fucking sucks." I hear a feminine voice behind me say.
I turn around and cock a brow. Warm, brown eyes meet mine and the tall girl smiles, showing of her perfectly white teeth. I purse my lips.
"Hey don't look at me. I sure as hell didn't know that was going to happen. I was a curious as you were. But what happened to you must really fucking suck." She says honestly. She was one of us. I smelt something familiar on her but I couldn't decipher what it was.
"It does fucking suck." I admit, looking down at myself....and of course my shirt was see through. "Well why the hell not? Let's just add some some more shit to the plate." I mutter and the girl looks at me, her gaze softening.
"Here, come on to the bathroom with me and away from all these fucking losers. I'll help dry you off. I have a jacket, too." She says, glaring at all the people staring at us. They avert their gazes. "Come on!" She beckons and I shrug, following her.
I cross my arms over my body. I was fucking cold and a hella pissed. What type of sick fuck would pour water on me when it was Winter? Oh yeah, Jason.
"M'kay, strip." She instructs when we finally reach shelter in the bathroom. I stare at her. "Strip." She repeats.
"What? I don't even know you!" I yell, blushing.
"Oh for fuck sakes. Hey, my name's July. I go to Bane High even though I rather sit at home and watch Netflix all day. I'm seventeen. I'm a werewolf, just like you, and my pack is the Silverbloods. I also am getting really fucking irritated so strip." She rushes out.
"'Kay." Is all I can say.
I pull my sweater over my head and look at her expectantly, crossing my arms. I see her gazing at something and look down. Shit. My arms. I realize too late. I whip my head back up and she slowly brings her gaze back to my eyes. But instead of her saying anything, she throws a jacket at me and smiles.
"Put it on, sexy." She draws and grins when I gasp. "Kidding." She laughs, her hands up in defense. I crack a smile.
"Dangit~," I fake pout and grin. We both give each other a serious look before bursting out laughing.
I zip the jacket up. The zipper felt cold against my skin but other than that it was pretty warm. The light green matching nicely with my jeans. "Fuck," I blurt out. July cocks a questioning brow. "It's almost dark out." I explain and she nods in understanding.
"That sucks. Sorry." She says and I shake my head.
"It wasn't your fault some ass-wipe put water in my locker. You were just helping." I argue. "Plus, if Winter wasn't such a bitch, it wouldn't be this dark out."
July laughs. "True dat. Let's all give a big 'fuck you' to Winter, shall we?"
I nod. "Yeah, Winter's my favorite season but, man, is it a bitch sometimes." July nods and we stand there awkwardly for a moment. "Well, I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask, hoping I will. She seemed pretty chill and having a friend who also cussed like a sailor would be fun.
She nods. "Totally. See ya around." She says with a smile.
I wave before walking out the bathroom door and out of Bane High. I'll just leave all my stuff there. I don't care who sees the wet mess of books and papers. Jason actually did me a favor. Now, I have an excuse to not do homework.
I think about this on my way home. My music blaring in my ears and my breath dancing in the air. The snow falls around me delicately. The cold air burned my lungs but I didn't care. It felt nice to know that in this world of repetition there was something to show me that today was a different day. My thoughts continue to think about trippy things that I can't even begin to explain. And finally, I arrive home.
I open the door, totally unprepared for the disaster that awaited me.

Loup-garou" I know, " he whispers, taking a step towards me. "What?" I ask angrily. "I know." He repeats, his voice cracking. Gabriel looked as if he was on the verge of tears. He shoves my sleeve up; revealing my scarred arm. "And I'm sorry that I wasn't the...
