Brother Battle

This oneshot is based of Friday Night Funkin, with a little bit of creative liberties taken. Also, due to the source material, it may get convoluted at times. A fairly big story is coming soon, so my apologies if this is a little shorter than usual. Hope you enjoy :)

Lucas was sitting on some trains tracks, waiting for someone to arrive. That someone was Ness, his closest friend. Well, they were closer than friends. Lucas had invited him out on a date. Why to the train tracks?.........You know, Lucas didn't seem to know himself.

A little while later, Ness arrived. Lucas smiled, and jumped up from the tracks he was sitting on. "So.....what are we doing here?" Ness asked, while giving Lucas a quick hug.

"I dunno....I thought we would just hang out," Lucas shrugged, as he responded. Ness nodded, seeming to like the idea.

Both boys made their way off of the train tracks, and to a nearby platform. They sat down on the platform and looked at each other, both having large smiles on their faces. Ness placed his hand on Lucas' own hand, and began to rub the back with his thumb. "You look so handsome," Ness said, while staring into Lucas' eyes. 

"You too," Lucas responded, staring back. The boys sat like that for a while, until a loud crash interrupted the silence. Both boys jerked their heads to the side to find the origin of the noise. And sure enough, they did.

Right behind them, was a giant speaker. Neither of them knew how it got there, as it wasn't there before. Both boys looked at the speaker, rather confused on how it managed to spontaneously appear out of nowhere. Ness stood up, and slowly made his way over to it. Lucas followed suit, tailing behind Ness.

Sure enough, it was a normal speaker. Nothing off about it. Ness grazed his hand against it, trying to figure out how it got there. "How in the...?" Lucas shrugged, he was just as confused as Ness.

As Lucas was about to touch it, his phone buzzed. Lucas reached into his pocket, and pulled it out. It was a text from Claus. 

Claus: you still with Ness?

Lucas: yeah

Claus: anything happen?

Lucas: not really

Claus: No, lets say, giant speakers appearing out of nowhere?

After reading this text, Lucas looked up from his phone to try and find Claus. And Sure enough, there he was, standing in a nearby alley. Lucas sighed of annoyance, and put his phone away. "Come out, Claus," Claus emerged from the shadows, and walked towards the two boys.Ness seemed slightly confused at the sight of Claus' presence, but Lucas seemed to know why. "Come on man, why are you here?" Lucas questioned Claus.

"Wanted to make sure this one didn't try anything," Claus pointed at Ness, while still looking at Lucas. Ness chuckled a little, and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Can you just go? Last time you did this I almost killed you," Lucas responded, quite annoyed. Claus shook his head, and put his hands in his pockets.

"No can do. I'll just return to my alley now," Claus turned around, walking back to whence he came. Lucas groaned, and rubbed his forehead. He knew he wouldn't be able to do anything with Ness while Claus was watching. Ness was also visibly upset that their date had been ruined. But unlike Lucas, he was willing to do something about it.

"Wait!" Ness called out, reaching his hand out towards Claus. Claus turned around, wanting to hear what Ness had to say. "How about we do a competition? Me versus you," Claus raised an eyebrow of intrigue, and walked back to Ness and Lucas.
