Buggy x Reader

Title: Because I Love You.
Setting: Buggy's Ship (Too lazy to search the name, sorry.)
Time: Mid-day/Evening

You were utterly annoyed.

The whole day you've been on this damn pirate ship was annoying, BUGGY, was fucking annoying.

He was always trying to snag a kiss, feel you up, or land a date.

Every. Single. Day.

And, you know, you'd think that he'd eventually get the hint, but no, he decided that he wanted you, and that he would fucking torment you day to fucking day.

Nonetheless, you were irritated. Very, goddamn irritated.

A part of you wanted to accept his stupid way of showing that he had feelings for you, such as giving you some of his food, hugging you constantly, and using his chop-chop fruit to irritate you.

So, being you, you decided to do it back.

Standing behind buggy, you landed a harsh slap to his rear, and ran downstairs to the other levels of Buggy's Ship, hearing some of his arms chase you.

You could already hear him yelling at you with an embarrased face, and in the end, you totally thought it was worth it.

...

It was late at night, and you were creeping up on buggy, hugging him from behind.

He freaked out, but turned around, and hugged you back, making you smile softly.

"Thinking about it again?" You asked, earning a nod from buggy as he took his hat off, letting his long hair flow out.

You smiled, and knew what he wanted, so you took your brush out, and began combing, "You know its okay right, to be scared?" You asked, "It's normal to feel another emotion besides happiness, I'm sure even Luffy feels sad, and angry at times too. You just can't let your pride get in the way, it's what makes me hate Pirates, they decide that feeling anything other than anger, or bloodlust, even happiness is prideful, when in reality, it just shows how hurt you actually are."

Buggy looked back at you, making you halt the brushing, his voice began to break, "why..why are you so nice to m-me?" He asked.

"I don't know, that's the only thing i don't have an anwser to buggy, i swear on that." You whispered, and pressed your forehead against his, "now, why don't i braid your hair? I think it looks absolutely marvelous like that." Buggy nodded as he cried, tears streaming down his face.

You smiled at him, and cupped his cheeks, wiping his tears dry, then opened your arms wide, "come on, let it all out." You said

As if an earthquake hit him, he began racking out sobs, burrying his head into he crook of your neck.

You rubbed comforting circles on his back, "Why this world is so cruel..I'll never know." You whispered, "but I'll be here to help you through everything, now that's something i can promise you."

Buggy nodded, still keeping his head in the crook of your neck, calming down, though his breathing was a little...mmm-...uneven.

"You're amazing, Captain, and I'm happy to call myself a member of this crew."

You didn't realize that people were standing, hiding somewhere behind you two, just staring.

Basically...the whole crew was eavesdropping on your conversation, and honestly, everyone was ridiculously happy that their captain had found a new crewmate he could trust and confide in.

....

It was another night, similar to the one so long ago.

You were standing on the deck, smiling as the cold air hit your barely exposed skin.

You were on your way to impel down, most likely to join the strawhats.

Sadly, you were roomed with Crocodile.

The two of you just sat, staring at each other with immense emotion.

"I wanna get outta here man-" you kicked some dust up from the cell, it was the first time you spoke, and crocodile was shocked to hear your voice.

"Yes, i have matters to attend to aswell, N/n" You looked at him, "how do you know that name?"

"You were pretty popular back then, Ms. Y/n." He nodded, and chuckled at your shocked expression, which quickly turned happy.

"Oh, that's awesome." You grinned, and watched as luffy stopped Infront of your cell, "luffy!" You grinned, and waved to him. Luffy laughed and waved, but stared at Crocodile.

Luffy (somehow) opened the cell, and let you out, you looked at Crocodile, and nodded, "I'll see you soon." You hugged him tightly, and he hugged you back, patting your back with his hand.

....

You stood with buggy near the sea.

He looked at you, and spoke, "Why are you so nice to me?" He asked, and smiled at you, expecting the same anwser he had gotten last time.

"You know, i thought about it...and I'm nice to you buggy..." You hugged him, running your fingers through his long hair.

"Because i love you."

He stared, and pulled you in for a kiss, luffy and the strawhats were practically dying from how much they gagged.

But Nami smiled, "let's go you guys!" She cheered, and you waved to them, "you guys are awesome." You whispered, and pressed a kiss to Buggy's nose.

"And you, you're beautiful." You laughed at Buggy's red face, practically dying.

He on the other hand, was absolutely embarrased by how you could make him tremble by saying a simple word.

"I love you." Buggy grinned, and you laughed, "i love you too, dork."
