[Dont see much of these. Should I make a whole ahh book? Idk if y'all would like that.]
"Attention! Rookies!"
Your voice rang out, catching the attention of those new recruits. They all saluted, very stiff, and averted their eyes from your gaze.
"Today will be the day that you figure out if you're ready to rank up-!" You paused, walking down the line of men and the one or two women in line.
You stopped at the last one, a woman who was shorter than you, but fairly attractive. Her hair cascaded in curls and colors, being held up in a bun. Her hair resembled that Crazy String, just multicolor.
"Or do chores for the rest of your life!" You yelled in her face, earning the attention of the poor woman.
She shivered in her boots, looking at the sky with shaky eyes.
You simply walked away, making your way to stand infront of them all.
"This obstacle course will test your very core! It will not be easy, and only the best will pass. For those who don't-!" You looked to the right and left slowly for dramatic affect. "Then it's back to the drawing board! You go home!"
Everyone seemed very keen on NOT going home. That would be very shameful to their reputations and titles.
"Now, Everyone to the starting line. This is NOT a drill!" You screamed, watching with a stone-cold glare as they pathetically ran over to the drawn line in the dirt.
You leisurely strolled over to the front of the obstacle course.
"Now, remember. No pushing, shoving, killing, manipulating, killing, and absolutely no cheating. Devil fruits are out of the question! If I see one goddamn person pull out their abilities. I'll pull out your fucking throat! Do you understand?!" You exclaimed, raising a brow, your eyes crazed with frustration and sleeplessness.
"Yes Ma'am!"
"Good. Now. Go make me proud." You said with a soft smile, jogging out of the way.
"START!"
They all ran like lambs to the slaughter, jumping and panicking as they tried to figure out who was the one to go home.
Some tried their best, some tried too hard, and some didn't try at all.
You sighed and pinched the bridge of your nose as Garp approached you in the field.
"Ahah! Not this again!" He laughed, patting your shoulder way too hard.
"Its perfect to see who cracks under order and pressure, garp." You said softly, and observed them closely- with the thought of them cheating in your head.
Garp couldn't help but cackle again, "thats why your trainees are always the best."
You looked over at him, kind of surprised. "Really? I never knew that."
"Yes, that's what sengoku said. He doesn't know how you do it." Garp stole a candy out of your coat, popping it into his mouth as he walked away.
"Give yourself some credit, dumbass."
You turned back to the rookies who already finished, making their way over to you with a big grin on their tired faces.
"Ah, Sasha, Cody, Nuri. Good job. You're my prized trainees." You said with a small, tired smile.
They all gleamed with pride, going to brag to the people who didn't finish as fast.
A light quickly envoloped the field, and zipped away as soon as it came.
