The sea.

It was a beautiful thing.. you remember when you were but a child, laughing and playing along the shores of the grandline. Jumping from island to island...

You smiled at the fond memory.

A hand on your shoulder drew you from your thoughts.

You flinched, bringing a hand into the air to swipe off the other's hand.

They went off first, grabbing your hand.

It was warm.

You looked over, staring into those eyes.

"Admiral Akainu." You murmured, eyes as dull as ever.

He only looked away, staring at the sea.

"We specifically asked you not to come up here again, and what do you do?" He asked, glaring into your inky abyss of a body.

You didn't respond, only Stepping aside, then gave him a shrug.

It wasn't a response to him anyway, he didn't understand you like Garp did.

You sighed, "leaving." You went to go down the ladder, a shadow over your eyes as you did so.

"Have a good day, Admiral." You murmured, and turned into black slosh, disappearing from his point of view.

Sakazuki sighed, he hated that you did this all the time, you barely spoke, and when you did- it was very little, he deserved some respect.

You didn't seem to care, though, at least he knew that.

........

You stared at your inky mess of a body, you produced the murky black substance and controlled it with ease. It was very beautiful. You were beautiful.

That's what he said.

You pressed your hands into your cheeks, trying to rip them out, but they only dissipated into ink.

You gave up, tears of black running down your cheeks, staining them.

A knock sounded from the door.

Quickly rubbing the ink off, you ran to the door, calming before opening it.

Koby stood there, Staring up at you, "uh- garp sent me to tell you that you're wanted in the Fleet Admirals Office.."

"Of course, no need to worry Koby." You cupped his cheeks, giving him your famous, almost unseen smile.

He visibly relaxed, his face red as you walked away.

Unlike others, your suit was black, presumably stained from your ability- albeit weird- everyone loved you.

You waved to some rookies as you went up the stairs, eyes full of emotions as you conversed with the others.

You loved people.

Except him. Not him.

Your eyes dulled as you knocked on the door of the Fleet Admiral, Sengoku of course. But you didn't mean Sengoku, infact you've had a good laugh with him.

You were talking about Akainu.

Walking inside, you gave everyone a firm wave.

"Vice Admiral." Sengoku smiled, then dropped the formalities.

"Y/n, why don't you take a seat?"

"No."

"Okay- would you like a cracker?"

"I ate already. Thank you."

Kizaru and Akoiji just watched the scenario played out, it always ended in you just turning into slosh and leaving.

You sweatdropped as Sakazuki began approaching.

"Sit down, vice admiral, now." He seethed.

"I take orders from Sengoku. Not you. Especially not now." You bluntly added, raising a finger.

Kizaru let out a chuckle, his smile never leaving his face.

Akoiji was just sitting there with a straight face, while Sengoku and Garp burst out with laughter.

Sengoku calmed quick when Sakazuki looked over at him, embarrassed and angry.

"Now, Y/n, sit down." Sengoku said.

"Yes sir." You sat in your respective seat, crossing your legs.

Everyone sweatdropped at how fast you got there.

"Well, Y/n, its come to our attention that you're not listening to most of our orders."

"Im a Vice Admiral, I'm allowed to be near you guys." You rolled your eyes.

And thats when they realized you were, in fact, an admiral.

"DAMN IT!" garp yelled, "I see you everyday! How could i have forgotten!?"

"You're stupid." You said, and stood up, moving to leave, tearing up.

"Y/-" Sengoku began.

"Now just leave me alone." You shut the door gently.

Would you and Sakazuki get along? Just ever?
